We selected this location after the Parade of Lights while showing a friend around San Diego. It's located downtown in the heart of the Gaslamp and much nicer than I expected. The food was surprisingly top notch with twists on traditional meals, like Kale and Corn Stuffed Chicken with roasted root veggies (how do I make my roasted root veggies... More

Dined here as it was not far from Balboa Theater. Started with the short rib sliders. There were only 2 which worked for the 2 of us. They were divine though. I had the top sirloin. It was good, cooked well, nice sauce. The sides were ok. Mashed sweet potatoes, and parsnips/turnips. They were just too sweet for me. My... More

I had dinner here on Sunday with one of my friends and my dining experience was very pleasant. Our server was very inviting and offered a variety of different specials that were being offered that night. I decided to go for the filet mignon, which was just on the regular menu and my friend had the steak dish. both had... More

Met there with work associates and friends. Table ordered various appetizers including spicy roasted red pepper hummus which was very tasty. The bread and butter was excellent. I ordered the arugula and beet salad and felt that there was a little much dressing but overall a good flavor. My dinner selection was the baked salmon. It was excellent and very... More

We looked at the reviews and decided to dine here while in San Diego on vacation, The atmosphere was very casual so I wondered how serious they were about the food. It turns out that they had a very nice menu with tempting dishes ... obviously they understand what good diners want. We started with Mediterranean flatbread, then I had... More

My wife and I went to dinner here late one afternoon. I ordered the Bacon Wrapped Scallops and my wife the Kobe Burger (17.00). I substituted plain mashed potatoes for wasabi mashed potatoes. I got three scallops which I thought wasn’t very many for $34.00. The scallops were very good but nothing exceptional. The carrots were not fully cooked which... More

This place was beautifully furnished, the food was delicious and the service was very good. As a business traveler, I often dine alone and find myself ignored, but I wasn't ignored here at all--just the right amount of server attention.

Ate here Oct 5 and had the scallops at $34 and all you got was # medium size scallops, real poor value. Enough said.

The concierge at the hotel recommended this restaurant and it was great. Our party had three different entrees and each one was excellent. The staff was attentive and courteous.
