Nice breakfast

We popped here for breakfast one morning while staying at the Omni. The food was really nice, really good service. I had the veggie tamales with eggs, which were fab. Pancakes looked ENORMOUS. Nice mix of customer - good, relaxed atmosphere.

We went for breakfast with friends. Long line so I was maybe expecting outstanding food. The food was good but not outstanding. The main issue was it was so loud we could not hear each in conversation. So if it is a popular atmosphere you are looking for with decent food then this is your place. If you want conversation... Needing a restaurant downtown near the Symphony I went online. Saw nice review so thought I would try it. I was not disappointed. The mission French toast was marvelous. It's in a cute house converted to a restaurant. My friends had pancakes, blueberry and banana/strawberry. Each one was just as good as mine. The presentation with the raspberry swirls on... More

This is a popular restaurant so you will most likely have a wait, but it is well worth it. Great food and many different choices for whatever you may want for breakfast they also have many shakes, smoothies and coffee drinks. (Bloody Marys, Mimosas, beer and wine too.) Biggest most delicious breakfast menu I've seen in long time. You will... More

My wife and I went to breakfast here last week after I recommendations from some friends. It was one of the best breakfast I have had in a long time. I had the eggs with rosemary potatoes and toast. They make their own bread here and the toast was a rosemary loaf that was a perfect combination of softness with... More

The mission has the best French Toast I've ever had. They are huge. My husband had the chilaquiles and they were great as well. I will return to The Mission next time I'm in San Diego.

Return visit to The Mission and again they surpassed themselves. We had breakfast burritos and Mission Rosemary which we shared because there were so many temping foods to sample. The breakfast burritos were really good and the Mission Rosemary was great The staff were really cheerful and helpful Would recommend The Mission to anyone

Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch in the center of the town. Nicely decorated restaurant and food, with even better taste. Suitable for people with small or big appetite.

A tasty and not terribly overpriced breakfast is the white whale of visiting another city and The Mission nails it. This cute restaurant just east of Gaslamp Quarter delivers. Cute interior, way above average service and a great offering of coffee drinks and breakfast entrees. You won't go hungry here. The french toast is a work of art and the... More

Traveling with my mom and stopped here for breakfast on a Thursday morning. I had the Papas Loco (hold the cheese and sour cream), my mom had the chicken sausage and rosemary potatoes. Both were fantastic and enormous! I cannot say enough about the potatoes ... or the black beans ... or the rosemary bread ... or the service! Had... More
