The Mission was recommended to us by the doorman at our hotel - he definitely has good taste! Don't be discouraged if there is a line outside - it moves quickly and is so worth any wait. So much to choose from and you will not be disappointed with your selection. If ever back in San Diego we will definitely... More

This was just a quick walk away from our Gaslamp quarter hotel. Quick and friendly service and the breakfast was great. We tried the Mission french toast , which is topped with fresh fruit. Very good !

I've only eaten at the Mission in North Park, but it was fantastic. If you want an amazing brunch/breakfast, go here. Very busy in the mornings, but if you go around 1 (it's open til 3 p.m) you can get in right away, usually. I had blackberry and banana pancakes (fresh, wonderful, fluffy) and bacon and scrambled eggs. My son... More

We waited about 35 min. on a Saturday morning in August. I expect that is a normal occurrence at The Mission. There is some shade on the sidewalk out front but no seating while you wait. A small park with creative palette climbers is just behind the building. Little ones might find this fun while waiting. Parking is street parking,... More

Drove in early into San Diego and came across this quaint place as we looked for a place to eat. Lucky for us there were some seats available at an outside table so we were able to enjoy the San Diego weather. Everything we ordered was quite tasty. The service was great too. It was a great start to a... More

Served in seconds and the atmosphere was amazing. Always coming round to refill your drinks and ask if your meal is okay. Pancakes are stunning and so is everything else on the menu. Always worth the visit!

My husband and I visited The Mission located on Mission Boulevard. Because we arrived around 10, finding parking was awful. Maybe it's easier if you go earlier in the day? Eventually we found spot down the street. Mission Blvd would be a fun place to hang out and explore if you didn't have to worry about parking. We were told... More

We found this place after a few lackluster, overpriced meals nearby. We wanted a good breakfast and ended up eating here twice. Everything we ordered was excellent. We tried the Rancheros verde, the papas loco, and the corned beef hash (I think thats right, it was my husband's order). The portions were large, and the service was also wonderful and... More

We were looking for a great breakfast place while visiting San Diego. This place was rated very high on trip advisor so we tried it. The mission was great! The waiters were really attentive, and the food is awesome. Very fresh nice portion breakfasts. This place was crowded and I can see why. Would definitely go back here when visiting... More
