My husband and I visited The Mission located on Mission Boulevard. Because we arrived around 10, finding parking was awful. Maybe it's easier if you go earlier in the day? Eventually we found spot down the street. Mission Blvd would be a fun place to hang out and explore if you didn't have to worry about parking. We were told... More

We found this place after a few lackluster, overpriced meals nearby. We wanted a good breakfast and ended up eating here twice. Everything we ordered was excellent. We tried the Rancheros verde, the papas loco, and the corned beef hash (I think thats right, it was my husband's order). The portions were large, and the service was also wonderful and... More

We were looking for a great breakfast place while visiting San Diego. This place was rated very high on trip advisor so we tried it. The mission was great! The waiters were really attentive, and the food is awesome. Very fresh nice portion breakfasts. This place was crowded and I can see why. Would definitely go back here when visiting... More

Was shopping for a birthday present and decided to park the bike and eat here. Wow! It was really good. I like breakfast, but I like it to be a little different, not just eggs on a plate. The Mission does a great job of serving flavorful food. Servers were great, loved the whole experience. Went back two more times.

The atmosphere is really nice, the servers are really attentive, and the food is delicious. We met up with some local friends afterwards and they were really impressed that we found the mission as it is a local fav. I would highly recommend, and its in a nice neighborhood so if your close go ahead and hoof it.

We flew into San Diego for a Padres/ Cubs game around 10:30am so we were looking for a good breakfast/ lunch place. We parked our car down by the stadium (which meant we had to walk through an area w/ a lot of homeless- no problems though) and walked to the restaurant. It was busy when we got there and... More

Let me start by saying that the food was REALLY good before I get into the whole review (will come back to food). First, you can pay to park nearby, or you can find a spot on the street if you get there kind of early or on a Saturday. Be aware that there is a HUGE homeless population right... More

Arriving early on a Saturday, we wanted to avoid a wait. We were seated and offered drinks right away. We ordered French toast and blueberry pancakes. Both were nice servings and prepared quickly. The bacon side was really good too. This was all accompanied by great coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. Parking was a bit of a problem, but... More

Good breakfast spot, especially for vegetarians. Nice selection of coffee, interesting breakfast menu, great atmosphere. The chiliquillas are pretty. and the pancakes are huge. Get there early, by around ten you're gonna wait.

Pancakes were giant and flavorful. Also had eggs and bacon and was equally impressed. The decor was very interesting and inviting. Service was quick and outstanding. Parking was a bit of a pain.
