I went on a recommendation and had higher expectations than delivered. Not a bad thing though. Breakfast was very good. I loved the variety on the menu. Good place if you like it hot. Very authentic and full coffee bar. A bit of a walk from the Gas Lamp area, but local neighborhood views was worth it. Server was very... More

I don't eat eggs and this is the first restaurant that had alternatives to eating other than the plane old run of the mill pan cakes and french toast. I had a potato dish with chorizo cheese, onions, black beans and a tomato basil tortilla on the side. The food was amazing!!! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking... More

We visited the misson after reading great reviews on tripadviser and weren‘t disappointed. It gets very busy (we went for Sunday brunch around 10:30) so you should expect to wait for up to 40 mins. We ended up getting a table outside on a shady table, so i can‘t comment on the inside but our table outside was very pleasant.... More

We went for breakfast/lunch and all our choices were delicious. And the staff was very nice. Our hotel front desk recommended The Mission and I would too. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered the french toast & my husband had pancakes and we shared hash browns & eggs...the portions were huge we couldn't finish our food. The staff was very friendly. I gave them only 4 stars because it's very small & crowded, the tables are so close together we couldn't hear each other but could hear the conversations around us... More

The food and service were amazing. A bit of a wait was it is a popular place. The menu was creative and had lots of options for my non egg loving desires.

My husband and I visited the Mission again on our trip to Mission Beach. It's great to find a place that you can trust to have good quality food at a fair price. Pro: Food is plentiful and good, pretty much no matter what you order! Th rosemary potatoes are to die for, and the cinnamon bread french toast (their... More

There are some restaurants in San Diego where there is always a line, and a big buzz about going there. This is one of those places. While staying in the east Village for a month we would see the lines of folks waiting for a table, so we decided to try it on our last day in town .Well, whatever... More

Came here for the weekend with a group of friends and we were so happy to find this place! The customer service is great, I had changed our reservation about 3 times and each time they were even nicer about it. The food is amazing and very fun vibe. I highly recommend

Went for a late breakfast with husband and 4 yr old and we were sadly disappointed. Not kid friendly at all-- no kids' menu, no kid-sized drinks. I ordered strawberry-banana pancakes and was impressed by the plate-- 3 huge pancakes decorated with a berry coulis! When I had to use a knife to cut into my pancake, I knew the... More
