Very nice breakfast spot. Great coffee drinks, and good creative food. Would visit regularly if I was a local. No views or the beach, but a nice enough restaurant.

This is another not to be missed restaurant in San Diego serving up large portions of delicious breakfast goodness. Not great coffee but I am not a fan of Toby Estate coffee and everyone likes their coffee differently. You will not be disappointed with anything that you order and the portions are very big. Definitely an eatery that I would... More

Visited January 2nd, highly popular based on the lines, however wait was less than 20 minutes. I had egg/bacon quesadillas - yummy! Also tried the pancakes with corn meal, rosemary breakfast potatoes, coffee. Wait staff was very attentive - loved them! A must try for foodies.

Absolutely- a must go to eatery! Excellent menu of choices. I chose eggs, bacon, red Rosemary roasted potatoes and toast. Upon returning home, I tried to duplicate this plate at home. The food was indescribably good. One of the SrVPs of my company suggested this place to me and she went on and on about the bacon. She was right-... More

This place had really good food and excellent service. portions were large. my tea cup was very big like i like it. It was a few blocks off the gaslamp quarter but worth the walk. We had a great smoothy, pancakes and eggs. Home fries were good.

This is a place where you can get a wonderful breakfast with plentiful portions and tasty fare. The service is very good and the ambiance is quite relaxed. It is a great place to start your day. My colleague and I decided to give this place a try as it was about a mile hike from each of our hotels.... More

Definitely one of the best options in downtown for breakfast. Excellent food and good size portions. The menu could be a little more sophisticated.

We walked (about a mile) from our Hotel (Westin Gaslamp) to the Mission after a recommendation from a waitress at the hotel. We were glad we did since we had to walk off a very good breakfast. We had the Roast Beef Hash & Eggs, and the Blackberry Pancakes. The roast beef has was very good and the potatoes excellent.... More

Papas Loco was crazy good and crazy big. The rosemary potatoes covered in black beans with a homemade tortillas was the perfect vegetarian not sweet option. Everyone loved their food. Fresh and really good.

The Mission was recommended by our hotel. We went for brunch and ate a ton of food that held us til dinner. Hubby had French toast which was HUGE, potatoes were crispy and chunky. I had the quesadillas which were so so as they could have more filling in them, but the black beans were super good. Cool local atmosphere... More
