Best Breakfast spot in San Diego

This place is one of the main reasons I keep coming back to San Diego! My experience is limited but over 4 years I've never had a bad meal or poor service. The French Toast is a must try!

I have been to San Diego several times to visit family. One of the "must do" stops during our vacation is to eat at the Mission restaurant. Their French toast is out of this world; and the historic setting adds to a great dining experience. My family had several different food items and they all looked enticing. We did have... More

We visited The Mission on what is considered a slower week for tourists and did not experience a wait. The pancakes my kids ordered, despite being beautifully presented, were very dry and only had a white flour flavor and therefore the kids only took a few bites. In sticking with my plant based diet (vegan) I ordered the soy chorizo... More

We usually go for breakfast at least once/twice per year while visiting SD and hit up The Mission twice in two days this trip. Their pancakes are always delicious but this time we stuck with breakfast burritos, a full side of bacon and the Mission breakfast which comes with their famous rosemary potatoes, scrambled eggs and fresh-baked rosemary bread. Fantastic.... More

My husband and I had brunch there this past Sunday while staying at the Gaslamp district. Although it was crowded we only waited 30 minutes which wasn't too bad for a Sunday in the area. I had the Chilaquilles and my husband had the stuffed french toast. Both were delicious. My food had a great spicy sauce with black beans... More

Went there this morning with the family and ordered the chicken sausage dish. The Rosemary potatoes were excellent!! Kids got the croissant sandwich and they were ok. Bill for three entrees and drinks was $42 before tip. It's a block off the beach and near all kinds of cool shops.

While staying at the hotel indigo in the gaslight District we found this close bye breakfast restaurant. This is a very popular spot and with good reason, the food was great. Large servings and great food

My husband and I ordered the soy chorizo burrito and blueberry pancakes. The burrito tasted so good I had to double check to make sure it's vegetarian... Very tasty food and amazingly fresh ingredients!
