We came here three times on our stay at the grand del mar. We had a "bar dinner" a breakfast and a normal dinner. The bar dinner was perfect sliders a bread and meat platter and cocktails. Breakfast was just heaven and dinner was amazing although we didn't manage to finish our entrees after our appetizer. While it is expensive... More

Loved the vegetable risotto, sea bass and duo of beef. Staff was very attentive and great at providing us with quick service as we had two little ones. Can't wait to return!

Beautiful room, excellent service and the food was amazing! We ended up there as we decided not to go out on our last night and what a treat!

Came here with family and friends for a birthday celebre. None of us had been here. I just made reservations on-line. Oh wow..it's like going into another world! Thankfully it was a gorgeous day, lows 70's so we could sit on the patio and get the fabulous view. The menu was varied which helped since some in our party are... More

I have eaten here a number of times but last night was a "miss" for me. The food was good but nothing was a stand out. The service was good but even here they were a miss. The room felt even bigger than usual. They should think about updating the place. It is showing its age. The outside dining area... More

Had dinner at Amaya last night with 3 family members. Food was absolutely delicious and service was impeccable. Staff is friendly and accommodating, knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. The appetizer, Tahitian Squash Velute was amazing. Beef and fish orders cooked to perfection.

We ate at Amaya at the Grand del Mar for every meal of the two days we stayed at the resort (The Addison, their fine dining restaurant, was closed). I am thrilled to say that every single meal we had was a delight...from a Mediterranean Shrimp and Artichoke salad at lunch to a Duck Confit appetizer and perfectly grilled Prime... More

this resturant has the best of both worlds. Excellent service and a fantastic menu. I ate breakfast and lunch on both days and dinner the first night. I had a healthy start and a decadent finish. I woul recommend this to every guest!

Addison was booked for a corporate event, so my client suggested my wife and I meet him in Lobby Bar and then we would eat at Amaya. First off, let me say the Grand Del Mar is a spectacular resort. We arrived and went to Lobby Bar where I ordered a martini and a Chardonnay for my wife. When the... More
