Pizza was great! Popped in before the padres game for couple cold beers and good pizza and reasonably priced evening. Friendly service with great advice on the pizza. Accomplished all of thee above. Would def return.

San Diego is not known for its pizza. However, if you're looking for pizza that tastes like back home (NYC, Montreal, Chicago), then look no further than Basic. The crust was perfect and the toppings were even better. Build your own pizza in choosing from many toppings. The salad is a nice way to start your meal. The candied almonds... More

If you are looking for a place to have truly remarkable wood-fired pizza in a very trendy setting, this is your place. While the atmosphere is very stark and much seating on low tables and ottomans, the pizza is some of the best anywhere. The bacon and baked potato does not sound appealing, but is fantastic. Salads were large and... More

We were randomly looking for a place to eat, drink and watch the game and came across this place and we are glad we did. The service was top notch, the pizza was amazing, our party had one of the best times we have had in our frequent visits to San Diego

If you like tasteless burned cardboard this is the place. We heard people saying this is the best in town. Sadly no. We love pizza. But as east coasters I can say this is horrible.

I am not someone who love pizza - especially the chain restaurant type. This was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Very thin crust with fresh ingredients. We had the meatball pizza with fresh mozzarella, ricotta, basil and garlic. EXCELLENT! I also love the urban open feel of the place. Would definitely return on my next visit.

this was the best pizza we have had during our trip to the USA. not greasy, you can choose the individual ingredients tha way you really want them, which we found to be a great plus. one large pizza is enough for three europeans, really tasty, quick service - we were really satisfied and it was rather cheap (3 persons... This is a great pizza restaurant/bar right behind Petco. The service was great as well. I took some co-workers of mine one night and they insisted that we return two days later for lunch. You won't be disappointed.

Dough is Very good and so are the toppings. The place was a bit too noisy since it's also a bar, but overall a great experience!
