We ordered 2 appetizers. When they came, one was wrong. It took a long time to get the correct one. We had to ask for bread. The main courses came before we had finished the appetizers, so we sent them back. When they returned, they were lukewarm, and one was inedible. We were told that they were very busy because... More

They have underground parking available. Read reviews to limited parking and we were there when San Diego Pride was going on. We found parking but took awhile. Upon arrival our waiter told us about parking. Anyways, food was fabulous & glad I invested in a Groupon purchase. If you are in the area please check this place out!

Hexagone was recommended to us by friends. Since it is in a busy area, the valet parking was appreciated when we ventured there for dinner. The menu was not the classical French expected, but a very good "Americanization" of French classics. We decided that the clientele were mostly retired individuals with excellent tastes and that the menu was geared to... More

Hexagone looks clean and tidy. The dining room has a nice atmosphere, comfortable sitting as there was only one other couple dining. The quality was just ok and the taste was good but nothing unusual, special or exciting. The quantity on each dish was unpleasantly moderate. As I asked, about the special on the chalk board outside the waiter argued... More

Really good french food in a very European atmosphere. The prices are fair and the taste of the food is very good.

Last chance to redeem themselves. Happy Hour. Worst ever. Understaffed, ran out of French Onion Soup, and this is a French restaurant. Wine needed to be chilled. Lady at bar sent her calamari back. Only one hapless waiter to make drinks, serve food, show people to their table. Our friends stopped going here but we tried. This place has gone... More

Mediocre at best. The food is okay, but mainly cliché French food. Mustard overpowered the caesar salad. The bread was not fresh. Can confirm that the service is impersonal and unattentive. The restaurant itself needs to be cleaned.

We had an early Valentine's Day meal here. The food and wine were excellent, the service and atmosphere nice, the price reasonable.

We went to this restaurant for San Diego's 'Restaurant Week'. I hemmed and hawed between giving it 'Average' and 'Very Good'. I give it 'Very Good' for the food, but the overall experience was just average. First of all, having driven 30 mins to get there, it was very difficult to park. We drove around for about 10 minutes and... More
