After a full day of sight seeing and a big diner lunch my wife and I were keen for something different for dinner and a quick search of Trip Advisor found this place only a ten minute stroll from our hotel - glad we made the effort. The staff were friendly and polite - our table very nice and the... More

Any thoughts of eating within a caloric budget should be checked before walking through this lovely "industrial-style" dessert-erie. And why would you? These after dinner treats represented edible works of art that are (almost) too good to eat. One could go bananas trying to figure out what to order. Best advice: if have something in mind, go for it! Otherwise,... More

I am amazed at any negative reviews of this place. Did you have a fight with your girlfriend? Or are you a contrarian that just can't stand to have something (or somebody?) come highly rated? Whatever it is, you aren't to be believed. This place is fabulous. We had the Fresh Fruit Lemon Tart, the Gluten-free Chocolate Mousse Cake, and... More

It is hard to choose when you enter the restaurant. Thank goodness they let you make several passes in front of the beautiful dessert cases before you have to choose. My husband had the Viking, I had the Caramel Chocolate cake...both were very good but we should have shared!

We came here due to reviews of the desserts. My friends and I order what we all wanted and we all tasted each other's dishes. It was pretty good. They had a rose lemonade that was good and different. I really enjoyed that. From what we tried, the best was the Ivoire Royale. I would definitely go back if I... More

My friend told me about this place and convinced me to try it. Visiting from South Florida, I'm all about checking out places I haven't been to in San Diego. It was a Monday night and the restaurant was half empty. It's a good thing he said because otherwise there would be long lines. We ordered five desserts which came... More

I have eaten at a lot of great restaurants. This has to be one of the best desserts ever. Presentation beautiful. Desserts move out so fast, they are not dried out. Kid friendly. Portions enough for two. BLT with Avocado is delish. Eat light because dessert is worth the wait. Warning the Lemon Bread pudding is lemon strong.

My 2 Friends took me to their favorite "Dessert" place, and my Goodness, my eyes popped out from the beautiful cakes, pies, pastries etc. I can't imagine how I can eat such beautifully decorated cakes and pastries. We ordered sandwiches. I had GRAVLAX-STYLE SALMON /AVOCADO / TOMATO / MISO MAYONNAISE / LIME Other than the delicious taste, it is also... More

I'm the uber foodie. And it's hard to impress me. Extraordinary Dessert not only "wows" but has me taking every friend visiting San Diego to its Little Italy location. Decadent, complex, layers of flavor, aesthetically appealing and quality ingredients are the words that best describe Karen Krasne's creations. Don't get me wrong....the price of the good stuff (everything in the... More

Incredibly delicious and flavorful desserts that are created to first, grab your attention with their eye-catching decorated tops. Sometimes it's the oozing caramel, or chocolates, but always with the edible flowers topping these masterpieces. As I begin to approach the restaurant my mouth begins to water and my eyes begin to widen when my imagination runs wild with what they... More
