Have not had gelato this amazing since I was in Italy. I had the oreos and cream and the pistachio flavors in a waffle cone (which is a combination that I would highly recommend). The guy serving us was also very friendly and gave some great recommendations on flavors to try. Was not much seating in the place but it... More

They feature savory and sweet crepes as well as Italian gelato. The service was great and the food wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant. We dined just before the dinner hour and didn't have to wait.

We just spent this weekend in San Diego for a graduation. Went to Chocolat in the Hillcrest area one day and The Patio(look for that review) in Pacific Beach the other day. Both were excellent. The parking could be a challenge at Chocolat but we were lucky. The dining area feels a little cramped but not annoying. We went for... More

I can't speak to the taste of the desserts at Chocolat Cremerie because I was refused service. While standing in line behind other patrons I asked one of the guys behind the counter what a particular item was. Without even looking he yelled "I don't know, you'll have to ask them". He said it in such a rude way, but... More

Our group sampled many flavours of gelato and all were delicious! I doubt you could go wrong with any of the choices--tons of varieties of chocolate and fruit flavours in particular. We also tried a few crepes. They were pretty good--its hard to have a bad crepe, really--although not all remarkable. The ham and béchamel had way too much béchamel,... More

This is a small unassuming place on 5th Avenue. It offers wonderful crepes, both savory or sweet, flat breads, cheese and smoked meats, sandwiches, etc. But you must try the gelato. They also have good coffee, using a Kona blend and they serve wine, beer and drinks. I was in the area for a convention and in five days went... More

I LOVE this place! The gelato is to die for! Every flavor I have tried is soooo delicious! And the crepes are wonderful as well! I love the savory mushroom & cheese crepe! I haven't tried the sandwiches or the pizzas here, I can't make it past the crepes & of course have to save room for the gelato! The... More

Very good Gelato, it was not Naples Gelato but it was a good second best. They have a large variety to pick from. The strawberry was fantastic! They will let you sample before you decide. The cup sizes vary from one, two or three scoops/flavors. Seating is very limited.

Located in the center of the old town in San Diego. This place is excellent if you want to have a ice cream after dinner. Good Italian and creamy ice cream, large portions if you take a cup

Found myself at this place 3 times on my visit. The Rhum Chocolate Gelato tasted like frozen creamy brownie mix. So good. Had the sausage flat bread, intending to eat only part of it as a snack, but I couldn't stop myself! On another occasion, had the strawberry and chocolate crepe and a chicken salad. Both good. Couldn't help going... More
