Description: Burger Lounge is centered on creating a burger you can feel better about eating. It begins with 100% fresh single source American grass fed beef. We believe that a hamburger should not only taste great, it should also utilize healthy ingredients produced in a sustainable environment. Burger Lounge offers a simple menu utilizing the mindful procurement of ingredients that appeal to health conscious diners, vegetarians, salad lovers and those simply “hankering for a great hamburger.” We take the time to know our growers and producers. These partners share our values of authenticity and simplicity. They care deeply about the quality of their products and environmental stewardship. It means better and more nutritious food for our guests. Our burgers, from The Lounge Burger made with fresh 100% grass-fed beef; to the Free-Range Turkey Burger made with Shelton Farms turkey; to the Organic Quinoa Veggie Burger created from organic quinoa, brown rice, zucchini, garbanzo, carrot, corn, and chipotle; are offered with organic American cheese or organic aged white cheddar, fresh or grilled onion, crisp lettuce, fresh tomato and house-made 1000 Island dressing. Finally, our Lounge Bun, made with a blend of organic wheat and white flour with a hint of molasses delivers the perfect combination of flavor, texture and temperature. You can also enjoy fine dining quality, truly healthy salads. Not your normal “burger joint salads,” these formidable and nutritionally robust salads include baby romaine, kale, spinach, arugula, organic quinoa, grilled corn, zucchini, red onion, jicama, tomato and a choice of house-made dressings. Fresh-cut French fries, house-made onion rings, scratch-made dipping sauces and simple desserts round out a perfect menu for any appetite.Since we opened the first Burger Lounge in 2007, we believe that it is about “doing a common thing uncommonly well.” As a small but fast growing restaurant organization, we represent a new take on an industry that has long suffered from gimmickry, poor quality, over processed food products and inadequate guest service. We embrace these genuine ideals and mindful environmental practices throughout our organization.Burger Lounge continues to satisfy Southern California diners’ and their insatiable appetite for affordable hand-crafted food and superior guest service.

Burger Lounge is a must-visit! I must say that the parking at this location is troublesome, but that's a small price to pay for the delicious burgers they have here. The specialty Lounge Burger includes a juicy grass-fed beef patty, grilled or fresh onions (do the grilled!), organic white cheddar or American cheese (white cheddar for me), thousand island sauce,... The only dislike was trying to find a parking spot. Residential area surrounding the restaurant with very few driveways, so residents parked on streets. We waited in line to order, then sit down. 2 stood in line to order and 2 of us found an available table. The hamburger was probably the best I've ever had. Items are all organic,... More

So thrilled with this place. They serve gluten free hamburger buns! Plus their bison burger rocks. Was so happy to find a burger place where I can eat. The fries will set you back a few hundred calories but are so worth it!

We are here after going to the theater on a Sunday night. Not much else was open and this place was a delight. Fresh food and made to suit your desires! Loved it, and the beer on tap to boot...

Burger lounge is great place for a quick and healthy lunch at reasonable prices. Their salads are great and they have a wide selection of burgers ranging from vegetarian through turkey to grass fed beef. Every meal has been fresh and delicious. If you can plan to eat a little earlier or later than prime lunch and dinner times you... More

We had heard that the burgers were exceptional and you can have a beer with your sandwich so we dropped in. We had a table outside to watch the flow of people on 5th. Burger was good, but not exceptional. Onion rings were standard and the flavored fries were ok. I would have preferred unseasoned fries - just a little... More

Recently had the opportunity to visit the Burger Lounge in the Gas Lamp District of San Diego, and loved it. I tried the Lamb Burger that is a special offering and not on the regular menu. Both the burger and fries were very tasty and a great value considering the cost of eating out in San Diego. WOW! It is... More

We are always bemoaning the very lightly salted and barely greasy fare that passes for fries and onion rings these days. The Burger Lounge does not skimp on seasoning! We had both fries and rings with our turkey burgers and didn't need to add any salt. The burgers had a satisfying grilled flavor. Good burger meal and the Maine Root... More

Nothing stands out. Thin burger with little flavor. Best part was the buttered toasted buns. Workers were friendly. Main section was noisy with loud young people. It's a good thing they have an outside section. It's food but nothing special.
