We had the pleasure of dining here mid September while on a business trip. There we're 16 of us for dinner and not one single complaint! Mario, our waiter was the best! He was so attentive, cheerful, always smiling, quick to refill wine glasses, water glasses, get a fresh drink! He made certain recommendations which were his favorites! The portobello... More

Got a recommendation from the Concierge at Hilton. Mixture of tourists and business people (probably from the Convention Center). Amusing melting pot of conversation topics: How lovely my daughters dress from Hollister is and our plans for the beach tomorrow versus the latest features of a new application. Tabule is a gorgeous restaurant. There is no deliberate theme here, however... More

Chicken entree sounded interesting but the chicken was overcooked and dry. It was really cold outside but the staff didn't want to accomodate by shutting the front door. The decor was very lovely.

I was craving ceviche and was directly to Tabule by our hotel concierge. Tabule did not disappoint! We ordered the lettuce duck wrap and salmon ceviche to start and then finished off with the monk fish (which was one of the specials for the night). My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the duck and ceviche, but the monk fish was... More

We chose this restaurant for the creative menu. Two of us tried the Gohan Tabule and was very interesting and good! I tried the special of the day which was monk fish and shrimp and was also very good, however a little too much sauce. The server did not tell me the price of the monk fish and I keep... More

The concierge at the Marriott recommended this. I should have trusted the mixed reviews on the web sites. It wasn't horrible but nothing great. Average across the board except for the cerviche which seems to be the thing they are good at. Wait staff was average. Would bring what you asked for but no anticipating what you might need. Worst... I don't know what restaurant these other reviewers went to but I have been here 3 times over the last year traveling and each time was better than the last. So I didn't use the restroom so all I can comment on is the food... which was stoupendous! we all had a fish dish and each piece of fish was... More

Got a look at the menu, which looked promising: trendy, funky with a dash of asian inspiration. Went downhill from there. Food is too salty and vain. It seemed prepared in advance and reheated. If you go to the restroom you can have a look at the kitchen. No chef in there. Look under the plate for the asian influence.... More

A recommended restaurant by the concerige at the Marriott Marina turned out to be the worst restaurant visited in San Diego. We were a party of nine and were upset with bth the food and service. Drinks took forever to come out, fish was in the salad for my wife who was a vegetarian, the fish was not cooked and... More

We went here after reading the reviews on tripadvisor...I think this is the first time I felt mislead by the reviews! This place is pretty spendy and at our table of 4 I don't think anyone loved their food. I ordered a ceviche, which they say is not your standard ceviche, which would be fine if it were tasty. It...
