I had the 14 ounce Ribeye steak medium well with sautéed mushrooms . Talk about good eating... That was well worth the $50 price tag. Make reservations.
My brother and his wife took me out to dinner here my last night in San Diego before I left on a nine month deployment. I don't eat at nice restaurants very often because I have young children so this was a real treat. The menu had good variety. We each ordered a different type of steak. It came out... More

Went to dinner with my husband on Sunday, it was dead, only 3 tables. The service was excellent and the steak was the best one that I've had in a long time. I had the filet and my husband had the strip. Dessert was yummy also. Was not to sure of this place, but had read great reviews, all true.... More

Wow. This place serves the best steaks. While it's not cheap, the menu is outstanding with a great wine list to accompany it. Great to see their high quality steaks do not include cows that have been fed Hormones. A fine place to eat. Loved it.
That was the best dinner I can remember. I went to Cowboy Star with my family and friends for dinner this evening and I am amazed. The service was excellent, and the food was of phenomenal. Adam was our server, and top to bottom the entire experience was excellent. We came for the chicken pot pie, which was a special... More
