Walked up here and didn't expect to be cooking my own steak for dinner, but was. Certainly unique. Lots of rubs to choose from. I ordered the Top Sirloin, so did my wife. We probably only needed one because it was huge!!! Loved this place. I'd go back tomorrow if it were in my home town.

What I loved about this restaurant was the fact that you could cook your own steaks. The new york strip was fantastic and the sides to go with it were fab..We has asparagus and the potatoes along with the salad was enough to feed 4 people. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff were very attentive. A must... More

We visited this restaurant during 'restaurant week promotions' and we had to wait but it was worth it. This is a place where you grill your own steak. I have not been to a place like this before. We got a steak, side, drink, desert and starter for $25 each. It would be worth much more than that and normal... More

Visited for the 3rd year in a row, but this time, it was restaurant week. I did the restaurant week special and it was way too much food! Can't complain about the food at all. I love the big steaks they provide for the cooking. And with all the seasoning right there, you can make it yours. I love the... More

My husband and I went for Restaurant Week and probably won't go back. Food: We ordered the NY Strips; he got a side of mac and cheese and I got a side of mashed potatoes. He also ordered Pulled Pork Poutine. Since it was restaurant week, we got a caesar salad and lobster bisque and cheesecake as well. By far,... More

Don't have a starter unless there are 4 sharing and when ordering sides remember you get a huge salad bowl as well. We love our good and have never left so much on the table, the restaurant to beat us. All very good and fresh, nice venue, good music.

I was visiting San Diego for a conference and my colleagues and I enjoyed a fun, awesome meal at Gaslamp Strip Club. We grilled our own steaks, which was fun, and my bone-in ribeye was excellent. A fully-stocked bar, great service, and attractive staff made it a great experience.

Considering the size of our party, service was OK. I ordered a guineas-cured steak which was not very tender and not very tasty. All sides are extra, enough to share but many with high content of fat.

If you are looking for a fun social meal this is it. You order your protein which is brought to the grill and you cook your meat your way. And of course visit with your fellow diners while it cooks. Sides are family style. All and all a fun time with a nice patio.
