I think most people over use the 5 star rating, but Osetra is deserving to be sure. This is my favorite place for late night cocktails and music. The atmosphere and crowd are sophisticated without being stuffy. In a short period of time you have a drink in hand and you are chatting with other well dressed patrons at the... More

Osetra was recommended to us by the Westin Gaslamp and we were very pleased. It was a Monday night at 8pm and the restaurant was busy yet quiet. We were immediately seated outside where the heaters kept us at a very comfortable temperature. The service was prompt and fast from start to finish. We had a delicious spicy tuna roll... More

Our marriott hotel recommended this place for seafood. We got a free appetizer card for going on their recommendation. I have a dairy allergy, and fish if not in sauces, is usually safe for me. They assured me nothing would be made with butter. They must have taken care because I did not get sick! I ordered the seafood platter... More

I had the stuffed sole and it was incredible. My husband had the lobster ravioli and love it. It is definitely a bit more on the pricey side but the proportions were great, the food was delicious and the staff was very nice and friendly.

Everything was of the highest quality and the location was great. It was a little pricey, definitely not an everyday dinner kind of place, but worth the price.

Given its destination as a conference site, vacation destination, and all-around great place to live, I have been appalled at the lack of good food choices in the Gaslamp Quarter. I know I am an East Coast foodie, but I have had one bad meal after another in San Diego making me wonder if there were any good options out... More

We were staying down the street and just happened to walk by with our dog and chat with the very friendly hostesses. The menu read well, and their description of specials even more. The two sidewalk areas are dog friendly. They brought a waterbowl. So we only saw the interior through the windows, but that looked very nice. The service... More

This is an absolute must try while in San Diego! Food was great. Found all the seafood I wanted on their menu. Drinks were good and strong, the way I like them. Plus, live music on a Saturday night. Great time!

We had mahi-mahi and sea bass main courses. Mahi-mahi was crusted with crab and served on a bed of risotto flavored with pesto. The sea bass was served with a pomegranate reduction and served on a bed of saffron risotto. The fish in both cases was cooked to perfection and tasted great. Risotto and veggies also well prepared and good... More

it was so nice I ate here twice while in town on business. The Chilean sea bass was superb. Also tried the Cioppinno, very good. Would recommend trying this when in the gas lamp district.
