Unique Sea bass

Overall, Osetra is a very solid Seafood restaurant. I especially liked the crispy crust on the outside of my Seabass. The oysters were amazing, but other in the party were slightly disappointed by the lobster.

Had a bit of a carcrash NYE experience - they way underestimated how long people would stay at their tables, so we were standing in the bar area waiting to be seated for over an hour. We did get a small discount and apology, so thank you for that. However the food was not brilliant quality, and quite stodgy and... More

I simply got he best Octopuss I have ever had. Tender, moist and juicy, just perfect. Accompanied by a lot of other very well prepared dishes this was a great experience.

On 5th avenue there's certainly no shortage of options to get food and drinks, however, finding really good quality is not that easy. Look no further, we went to Osetra and were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation. Excellent service, good wine list and the food - wow we were all truly impressed with the dishes we... My family was in town visiting from Pennsylvania and it was the perfect week for them to visit because it was Restaurant Week here in downtown San Diego. I decided to take them to Osetra, which is one of my personal favorites in the area. Amazing food, awesome atmosphere, great service. We each had something from the special menu. Some... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel concierge with superlative comments. The server was quite good and attentive, although there were errors in two of our four orders. The wine list is thorough, but with a 4x mark up in price for favorite bottles we know well. The salad was plain, and entrees bland but large, although the fish itself... More

We were excited about this restaurant based on the recommendation from our hotel concierge. He was right about the modern, energetic atmosphere. There's also an extensive wine list, and the waitress confidently recommended a nice chardonnay from our description of what we were looking for. My companions enjoyed their crab leg feast, though found the portions I tasted unimpressive. My... More

We entertained 22 business associates in their private room. It was the best meal we have had in San Diego and by far the best service. It was a joy to be there- The ahi tuna was perfectly cooked and perhaps the best I have had. Even though we are in Coronado, it was worth the trip. oh and look... More

Food was great, Service was awesome! Highly recommended for food & drinks. Loved the Mules both Mexican & Irish. Large Scallops with real caviar on lobster polenta & lobster ravioli were very rich and tasty. Jeremy was watching over us but was inconspicuous - excellent attentiveness.
