I ate in one of the large rooms upstairs. The menu only contained a few items for the occasion. Appetizers were served family style. The tuna roll was excellent as were the fried shrimp. Next came a great garden salad - the dressing was very good and the greens were fresh and flavorful. My enter was the salmon with spinach... More

Popped in for Happy Hour. Was a little leery of the seafood quality when we were seated and noticed the bar table seats were in dire need of reupholstering/replacement. After a chat with the bartending and manager they assured us the restaurant was planning a major overhaul, but the seafood was fresh and high quality, we decided to settle in... More

I came here one night with a customer after a work conference thinking this would be a good seafood place in San Diego but I was wrong. Everyone at our table (5) was very dissatisfied with the food they received. People had lobster, steak, lamb and fish but no one enjoyed any of it. One of my co-workers even got... More

We stayed in San Diego gaslamp distrikt for some days and visited Osetra the first day. All of us ate fish as was delicious and also the wine. We were so satisfied so we revisited Osetra our last evening, and ate lobster - fantastic - and HUGE!! The service was also good so we can absolutely recommend this restaurant!

Visited Osetra for my birthday. It did not disappoint. The salmon and risotto was excellent, as was the organic greens salad. Good selection of menu items. Decent wine list. Everything overpriced but that's expected in the Gaslamp area. Service attentive and unobtrusive. Nice atmosphere. Really nice meal! Park at Horton Plaza for 3 hours free with validation from mall.

We were very comfortable at dinner. The menu had lots to choose from and the appetizer was free since our hotel called to make the reservation. The food tasted good and was worth the slightly higher price for the Gaslamp area. Service was a little spotty, but polite.

The Gaslamp District is inherently over-priced. However, if you are paying those kind of prices you expect a very good meal. This was not it. I also need to point out there were so many bugs flying around it made it near impossible to stop swatting long enough to eat. In an upscale restaurant this just shouldn't be happening. I... More

It is located right in the Gas Lamp district; a very colorful area with more unique restaurants than you can count. Still this one stands out. You can dine inside or outside on the sidewalk. If you choose inside you will experience a trendy interior complete with a 2 story wine cooler. When you order wine, a server is lifted... More
