Best Night in San Diego

What a nice treat this place was. Had a great dinner here and the specialty drinks were so good. Our waiter Marco (handsome Italian man) treated us like kings and queens, best service ever. Will definitely return.

Having read rave reviews of the restaurant we came across the location without a reservation and hence being Saturday we didn't expect a table. We were wrong. It not disappointed. We were well served during our stay by our waiter Ludo. Starting with a pear salad and lobster tempura, following with a stuffed Sole and a Mahi plate we were... More

An Exquisite meal prepared to perfection. The wine "angel" is entertaining to watch. We had a professional waiter who served us with panache and humor. A good place for fiends or date night.

Two of us dined at Osetra on the advice of our hotel concierge. This restaurant has the potential to be great, but several slips and a defiant and condescending attitude left us feeling ambivalent and disappointed with the overall experience. We liked the room very much. It's a lovely spot for a romantic or business dinner. Volumes are not too... More

Went with a group at a conference. Waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. The ancillary staff were filling drinks and clearing dishes. 5 stars to this great restaurant!!

I ate here with a large group of colleagues and I can't really fault anything the restaurant did. Service was good and prompt. However, and this is a purely personal thing, it was not for me. While I really enjoyed the appetisers they brought, the main course (lobster and seafood over linguine with a spicy tomato sauce) was just too... More

Had a good meal with good wine with 15 of my good friends and clients. But I lost my receipt for $259 that I needed for my expense report. I emailed them and an employee (or more) went WAY over and beyond most customer service standards. They explained, "accounting department store these in their files, and we have to physically... My wife and I - seafood lovers from landlocked Montana - recently spent several days in downtown San Diego, where we reveled in three of the finer seafood restaurants, all within a few blocks of each other in the Gaslamp Quarter. Of these three, we rate Osetra #2 - but we'd make it #1 if we were 30 years younger... More

With all the restaurants in San Diego this one just failed to impress me. The service was adequate but, for some reason, the server gave off a strange vibe - kind of mocking in a way. The atmosphere and decor are nice. The food was good but extremely pricey and we were glad we really weren't that hungry when we... More

I came in for a cocktail, but the menu looked great so I stayed for dinner. I started with the lobster tempura which was excellent. I had the Cioppino for dinner and was highly impressed. This is one of my favorite seafood dishes and I order it often. It had an excellent flavor with the perfect amount of spice. The... More
