Ohmygod

My life is changed from this restaurant. So flipping delicious I love that they give you bibs and gloves so you can really get in that bag of seafood. And that butter....wow

A get down and dirty place where you eat tons of shellfish according to your seasoning preference. Perfect with beer and a big group. Delicious and fun!!

As we walked the gaslamp district this evening we decided to enter this restaurant for dinner. Excellent choice! The service and food was great at a decent price.

After reading the reviews I thought that our party of four would find another good sea food restaurant in San Diego. Not so fast. Although the shrimp cocktail was good ( how bad can one make a shrimp cocktail ) and the clam chowder soup was well worth it, we then hit the ocean floor. Ordered the fried sea food... More

This is not a high brow joint, as everyone has single-use bibs and gloved hands diving into plastic bags, but the seafood inside is delicious. We had the "holy" sauce, which has a (high) medium Cajun spiced flavor. A number of craft beers on tap to go along with the cuisine all make for a great, if not refined meal.

In all fairness, the rest of my family loved this place. They had snow crab legs mostly and all of them thought it was wonderful. I, however, opted for the fried shrimp appetizer for my main course and it was terrible. Was there any shrimp in there at all? I don't know. It seemed to be nothing but very deep... More

I visited this place on a Saturday night and I was greeted straight away. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. The actual restaurant is a bit faddy and is the interior is very basic. There is a huge roll of paper towel on each table and you are issued with a plastic bib. I ordered 1/2 dozen oysters to... More

By all means order one of the bags of seafood! The restaurant does offer dishes of various kinds, even a po-boy but where is the fun in that! Grab a bib and get down in it! We were in San Diego for 4 days and ended up at this restaurant for a second time! The seafood is good and done... More

Two of us went there around 7:30PM on January 1 and had a wait of around 30 minutes for our table. Everyone working there was friendly and competent. We had a one pound bag of shrimp in mild spice and the seafood creole. All was served promptly at the proper temperature and was delicious. All the customers at nearby tables... More

We had the Crab Legs Combo which includes king crab legs, snow crab cluster, potatoes and corn on the cob with O-butter. It was all served in a plastic bag on the table. Of course we received lovely plastic bibs to protect our clothes. It was a unique experience for both of us as in Sydney most seafood items come... More
