I have never had seafood prepared in a bag before. It was delicious. Service and location were great.

Staff was friendly but the food was average. Seemed like a glorified fast food place with booths and a full bar which was convenient. Very crowded. $25 and up for "buckets" of crab but they seemed over-priced for the amount of actual food. Fried appetizers - appeared big, but had lost of filler items and were on the oily side.... For a non formal place the piping hot bags of crab legs were awesome. However we returned a few days later for fish and chips expecting it to be as good and it was probably the worst I have ever had.

The food is just excellent. The place is super casual, they serve you in plastic bags by the pound. Don't miss the crab legs, the shrimps and if you like something else, ask for an order of potatoes and of corn. Ask for some surgeon gloves, because you eat with your hands. I personally would suggest to ask the food... More

We thought about skipping this nearby restaurant but are glad we did not. The buckets of boiled seafood are actually very good. Skip the fried food and you will have a lovely meal of excellent king crab, snow crab and shrimp. Wish they had some decent salads. Cornbread was not the best.

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant. We were not disappointed. The seafood was always fresh. I love the concept of cooking the seafood with the sauce in plastic bag. Two of us shared 1lb of shrimps, 1lb of clams, and Ilb of king crab legs. All were delicious. There were several degree of heat and... More

We were staying at the Courtyard by Marriott next door and asked the concierge's suggestions for "Seafood within walking distance". He and the bellman both raved about "Crab Hut", I was pleased it was really nearby, so we headed out. When we stepped inside, I was intrigued by the decor. Especially the jellyfish lighting. We were seated promptly... and then... More

I was thrilled to be able to finally get the opportunity to sample Southern Cajun Food in the Gaslamp Quarter. This restaurant is always busy and the decor includes fish tanks, sharks mounted on the wall and floating jellyfish lanterns. All diners are provided with bibs. Since we weren't very hungry (those buckets looked big enough to feed a family),... More
