Don't feel the food is worth the money. Got rid of their lunch menu, was told they just combined their lunch menu with their dinner menu,. When they did that all the lunch prices disappeared. Big boss sandwich is now 11.99. Got a ham and brisket big boss sandwich, there was hardly any brisket on it at all and the... More

We were in Topeka for the USSSA Class C Fastpitch World Series and wanted to find a good BBQ. Found Boss Hawg's on Trip Advisor. We called ahead for reservations and they were able to accomodate our group of 20 in the "loft." Anthony was our server and did a terrific job satifying our needs. Corn bread and honey butter... My wife, kids, and I were in town visiting family and wanted to go to a Topeka original instead of a chain restaurant for our outing. Heather, our server was great; both attentive and personable. It was a great start. The cornbread was good and our family loved the fried pickles for an appetizer; however, the experienced turned very sour... More

We found Boss Hawgs through Trip Advisor on our way back home from the College World Series in Omaha. We needed a good place to eat dinner while not taking a lot of time. Boss Hawgs was an excellent choice. The brisket sandwich was fantastic, and the complimentary corn bread was mighty tasty. The bar area is smoke free with... More

Good smoke flavor. Back a bit in a shopping plaza but worth finding. Love the area, just passing through but would come back.

Everyone has their opinion on what is considered the "best BBQ" around, but I can say I have not had anything bad at Boss Hawg's. The restaurant is very casual and comfortable. They have a restaurant side and a bar side so it is great for family dinners or for catching a game with friends. I am a fan of... More

We were traveling thru on I-70 and stopped to go thru several antique shops as well as to stay the night. We asked at one antique shop where "the locals go for good food at a decent price". She told us that Boss Hawg's BBQ was the best. So we drove up to the restaurant which is located in a... More

When traveling on I-70, if possible we go out of the way to eat here. I have always had a good meal (love BBQ) and good service, never disappointed.

I've moved around from state to state was not pleased with the food at all the bake beans are too sweet and the barbecue is just not that good.
