Good food...but

We sought this restaurant out based on an AAA review. Only reason it didn't get a higher rating was due to our server "Anna". For our money, we will go to McFarland's; better food, better service and an inviting environment. Last night we went to Annie's at my granddaughter's request. They didn't appear that busy but did have some large groups (6 or more). Our waitress was pleasant and accommodating but we were never sure if she was busy or inefficient. We didn't get... More

Jan 25th was my mothers 93rd birthday. She chose Annies for her birthday lunch with my sisters and I. We were one of 2 parties in the one dining room. The waitress was not friendly but that really didn't concern me until the food finally arrived. I had a stuffed potato that was so cold I couldn't get the butter... More

When my parents first took me here I was a bit scared, but was soon convinced. After reading the other reviews I was actually somewhat sad. Yes it is dark, but it's suppose to be. It's an place to take your time and enjoy your company. The waitresses I have had were amazing and completely nice. My favorite thing there... More

Just don't waste your time or money. It is out dated, dark, and the majority of the food wasn't even edible (and I will eat almost anything). Waitresses walk around saying whatever they feel like. We should have asked for our money back, or not to pay, however you want to look at it, but it's hard for me to... More

Our church Sunday school class had our November birthday dinner on a Tuesday evening at 5:00 PM. We had made reservations so they were prepared for us. There were about 23 in our group and they only provided 1 waitress. They were not crowded and a couple of waitresses were standing around in another area of the restaurant. We asked... More

Annie's Place maybe worth it.. I'm not a dessert fan, but I'm told by companions that the pies are great. The food is good. Not awesome, not bad, not stellar...it's good. But the food is always right up there at the good or slightly better mark.. I happen to like the soups, so that's a plus. I have to admit... More

Really consistent with delicious food and pleasant atmosphere. Although there is a bakery on site. and the aroma of fresh baked goods is part of the charm, I tried the bun less chicken, (I'm doing a low carb plan for weight loss, which is working well BTW) We were happy with the lunches and my friend needed a to go... Our family group of 12 arrived @ 7:00 on a Saturday. First issue...it took forever just to get and serve drinks. It also took very long to just order our meals. They screwed up a few orders, including forgetting one thing and kept promising it "was coming out in 1 minute." The food itself was mediocre. This place just seems... More

We ordered baked cod &broccoli because we are watching calories. The cod had no flavor & was tough & rubbery. The broccoli was all ends & stems, hardly any florets! The salad was just ok, nothing special. I have heard if you do choose to dine there only order their special of the day. Also, heard the are known for... More
