If you are local - or enjoy eating in your hotel room - let me tell you about the Fiesta Platter. For $37 you are going to get enough burritos, enchiladas, tacos, quesidillas, and taquitos for 10 people. Plus chips, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, pico and a taco salad. I'm sure there was something else around the platter but... More

Ate here mainly due to a couple of good reviews, and it's closeness to the Ramada Inn Topeka, KS West. Guacamole was good, and generous portion. Salsa was freshly made. Carne Asada was very good. Margarita was delicious and generous. Lynne's Mucho Grande (ground beef) was pretty ordinary and not flavorful. Overall good locally owned, reasonably priced, Mexican food. Order... More

Casa Ramos has been our default Mexican restaurant in Topeka and Emporia for close to 5 years. Great food, huge portions, fun and welcoming atmosphere. However, my husband and I were disappointed tonight by the overwhelming onion presence in our entrees. I ordered the Zarape burrito - the description from the menu is as follows: "A big flour tortilla with... More

The atmosphere and decore is very pleasent. Not fancy but comfortable. The food is very good. Large portions and prepaired very well. Prices are good. The staff very friendly. I will be returning.

We've been going to Casa Ramos for 4 years. It's a friendly place, they treat their customers like family. Food portions are large, (ask for their green salsa if you like your salsa a little hotter) and you never leave there hungry. And the price is right!

Love this restaurant. Very friendly staff, and always delicious food. Food portions are large. they always got margaritas ready to go. I was hesitant at first, but then became a regular visitor.

We were passing through and stayed atone of the local motels and found Casa Ramos. Their food was fresh and not greasy and their service was outstanding. Would recommend this place if you are open for causal Mexican dining in a festive atmosphere. This is not a fancy place, but a very comfortable one.

Please don't take this as a negative comment but it seems that most Mexican restaurants in the US are pretty much the same - good food, but just not outstanding. Casa Ramos fits into this description. We did have trouble finding it as the address we had was for their location before they moved. The are situated in a small,... More
