We got there around 12:30. Seated eventually. It was obvious most of the people were there for business lunches. The place absolutely died at 1:00pm. We placed the order and waited.... and waited.... and waited. 20 minutes later, the waitress tells us the order got lost and they are just starting to make it. Another 10 minutes and our three... In a good test of standard pub fare we had fish and chips, and bangers and mashed with a Guinness. Everything was pretty good. The fish was quite good and the Guinness was perfect. The server we had was really attentive and friendly, without being overbearing. We finished our visit outside with our drinks on the patio, which is quite... More

Tried to take my son, who loves his Irish heritage, to eat at The Celtic Fox...looked online for hours for Saturday...found website that listed 11am as opening time. Got there, paid parking meter, excited to eat & check out an Irish Pub....CLOSED. They do not open until 12pm on Saturdays. Bummed out!!! It looked cool....too bad.

Maybe the night bar scene is better. That said, the Celtic Fox is nothing special and a poor effort at an Irish pub. The food is bland with little attempt to create authentic Irish food. The menu is more akin to Applebee's and their ilk than a proper pub. The shepherds pie was ok, but the fish and chips was... More

Stopped by for an early dinner before a concert at TPAC. 2 adults and 1 child, enjoyed fish and chips, and a black bean salad, as well as soda and a couple pints. Food was great, service was great, too.

My wife and I stopped here before the show at the Topeka Performing Arts Center, which is only a block away. It was not overly crowded and there was no wait. The service and food was excellent. I didn't notice until later that they had overcharged me for two beers, which were ordered during happy hour, but were paid for... More

Love coming here! Great to meet business associates and entertain. Atmosphere is perfect with laid back staff and food. Drinks always mixed well and beer always cold. Will continue to be one of my go to locations for business and pleasure!

This location looked like a good place for a Celtic meal. But I've never had Bangers & Mash that included sauerkraut which I thought to be a German dish. Apart from the loud guy at the bar it wasn't too bad. Service was great.

Do not sit in the back room if you want a quiet environment. It is so loud and it echos, you will have a hard time hearing your table mates. As for the food do not go here if you are vegetarian. There is only one item a vegetarian can eat, aside from the house salad which consists of iceberg... More
