Excellent meal for a special occasion - five courses for $43. If you want a hearty meal, you better skip this place. The portions are just the right size to be nicely satisfied at the end. A more upscale restaurant such as you would find in KC.

On an overnight visit to Topeka we made reservations at Rowhouse Restaurant. The restaurant, as the name implies, is in a rowhouse and has a quiet atmosphere. We were greeted like old friends at the door and seated upon our arrival. Our food was creative and delicious. We enjoyed the tasting menu with the wine pairings which are served as... More

This restaurant is in an old "Rowhouse" and managed by its chef/owner. The servants are extremely nice and knowledgable about the menu they serve and the pairing with either a full or half glass of wine is an excellent gesture to have a delightful meal as a reasonable price. The bread is the best I ever tasted in the US.... More

Visited the Rowhouse with friends while visiting Topeka. Loved the ambience and the overall culture of the restaurant. It's by reservation only and their menu changed weekly. Their creations are unique, ingenious, and spot on with pairing foods that most people wouldn't think of doing. You can try everything on the menu and have smaller portions or pick one entree... The restaurant actually comprises of two or three floors in a rowhouse in the middle of a set of rowhouses in north Topeka; it is open for business 4 days a week. The menu is actually a set one with small samples of everything on it but definitely enough to fill you up! I particularly enjoyed the cold plum soup... More

The Rowhouse is definitely a unique dining establishment. Our experience at the Rowhouse, which we had been looking foward to for a while, exceeded even our high expectations. We simply loved the tasting menu. We found everything to be light and fresh, and all full of flavor. Chef/Owner Greg Fox surprises you with some foods in unexpected combinations, which all... More

A lot of people say they like this place but I don't think it is above average. The portions are micro sized. On the way home had to stop at fast food to get enough to fill me up. Won't go back!

RowHouse Restaurant is a one-of-kind local eatery. Owner / Chef Greg Fox always puts together a creative and flavourful menu that changes weekly. Located in one of the historic Ross Rowhouses, it is an intimate restaurant. Reservations are very strongly recommended... and when you reserve a table it is your for the evening. There is always a vegetarian entree on... More
