We really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was outstanding and the service was first rate! We had the rib eye and elk steak. Which were so very good! We finished our meal with a banana fosters made at the table. So yummy! Our waiter was Adam and he was friendly and funny. We will drive to Tupelo just to visit... More

Very poorly managed. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. It was dirty and service was slow. Below average food.

While this is a "high end" restaurant (with the prices to prove it), the staff wasn't snobby or uptight. They were friendly and welcoming without being overbearing. The prices were acceptable for the food we were served, except maybe for the appetizer. Still, I would go there again and I highly recommend it. The rest of the meal, including the... More

My salad smelled of mildew. Our server was obviously under the influence of drugs. Couldn't even understand his name. And maybe the kitchen staff was in a worse situation. My Father is 89 and his first words were my salad smells like mildew. Off to the new Holiday Inn which recommened the restaurant. Should have listened to the young lady... More

My wife and I were traveling to Atlanta from Oklahoma City and decided to spend the night in Tupelo. Our desk clerk at the Castlewood Suites recommended Woody's for dinner. We were impressed not only by the ambiance, but by our meal and service. One of the specials that evening was elk in a beautiful sauce with grilled asparagus, which... More

One of the best meals I've ever enjoyed! They brought out warm french bread with a blackberry butter that was to die for! I will return to Woody's the next time Im in the area!

I'm a big fan of our Blackberry Butter, too. Often imitated, but not yet equalled in my humble and very biased opinion. Ask for me on your next visit. Thanks for the kudos! More

I've worked in Tupelo for 10 years, but for some reason never went to Woody's before. Not that it hadn't crossed my mind. I just never got around to it. Finally, last week after driving back from Jackson and not wanting to cook, I wanted to try someplace I'd never been. It was after 7 and the dining room had... More

Nicely written review, Dennis. Helps that it's positive, too, ha ha! Please don't let it be another 10 years before we get a chance to get your opinion again. :) More
