Stopped in to check out place. Parking lot very tight and confusing because you can order from a carhops. Went inside and food was fair. Bathroom was tiny, outside and used by men and women. Felt like a dirty closet.

My husband & I both had the cheeseburger plate, I had onion rings with coleslaw, my husband had the fries. I also had the chocolate milk shake! Omg ! They couldn't have been any friendlier except for picking up our check. I asked the waitress what she recommended? She asked how hungry were we? Best burger we've had in a... More

Just an experience you have to try, Elvis did it and so can you. Have the Elvis burger and sit in the same booth as the King himself did. The locals are superb.

The place was cool for it's age and historic Elvis elements. But the food and service were average. But it was nice to see it once and sit in the Elvis booth.

It's been there for decades......a real 'old fashioned' drive in with car-hops.......Tiny place and it gets slammed on the weekends, but a great place for a real 'home town' experience.....

Visited Johnnie's drive in after the Elvis birthplace. Enjoyably authentic diner nicely busy with locals as well as Elvtourists. Ok its not haute cuisine but the burgers are home cooked and the onion rings very special indeed. Nice atmosphere, there can't be many place like this left in the States so whether you go for the Elvis association or just... More

I brought my mother to Tupelo to see Elvis's birthplace, it is something she has wanted to do for a very long time. The waitress was not very friendly when my mother asked what the dough burger was, we are not from Mississippi we have never heard of it. She could have told us a story, and let us know... More
