Based on the reviews, we tried the fried chicken and the onion rings. Onion rings were among the best we ever had. The (dark) fried chicken was nicely hot, soft and juicy but a bit bland. The service was good and the owner came to ask if everything was fine. The place looks like a fast food and drive thru/carry... More

What a great way to start the weekend. Nothing like a chicken biscuit with gravy, a blueberry donut, and a cup of coffee. Not a chain but a clean family run business.

Ate here after reading so many amazing reviews, worth the hype! The chicken was good but the tenders were amazing. Great fries. They were out of the donuts we read so much about, bummed about that!! Would go back if we weren't just passing through!

Went through the drive-thru a few days ago and was fairly disappointed with the service. The girl taking my order was very rude and snatched the money out of my hand without saying thank you. Besides the service, their chicken is the absolute best! If you're stopping in for lunch or dinner, make sure you try their homemade onion rings... More

Connie;s has great chicken and salad bar. It is locally owned by 2 brothers who inherited from their father-Connie- who ran it many years before he died. The breakfast is great and Sundays are usually packed for the after church crowd. Onion rings are the best of anyplace in town! They are homemade.

Just get the strips and you will be in for a great treat. A little expensive but worth it from time to time.

I use to work for a company that sent me to Tupelo periodically, it is a much better twon than what people think of when they vision a smaller town in the Mississippi Delta. Connies is a local favortie with a minimal, but clean, decor; you feel like your in a fast food resturant with really great food. The Food... More

On a recent trip to Tupelo, we stopped in because this used to be a really good place to eat. We were thoroughly disappointed. The ladies at the counter were not rude, but not nice either. The food was not ready at the same time and when I finally got mine, the mashed potatoes (out of a box) were cold... More

Connie's has great chicken, biscuits, gravy and donuts.......but more important....Connie's has honorable, honest employees and owners. During a cross country trip, I left my purse at Connie's. I did not discover the loss until 500 miles down the road. My purse contained passport, checks cash, camera, credit cards etc. I called Connie's and talked to Mr. Asters. He immediately told... More

Tupelo may be famous for Elvis but it should include Connie's Fried Chicken too! The salad bar was fresh and plentiful. My husband loved the chicken strips and commented they were the best he had ever eaten. My only regret, I didn't order onion rings. They looked yummy:)
