Is pretty good. They have a great variety to choose from with pizza, sandwiches, salads and other semi-random things like hot dogs and burgers. The prices are reasonable, the service is quick, and pleasant. Whenever we are passing through this neighborhood, we know this is a reliable place we can stop for a decent meal.

I have gotten takeout from this restaurant several times over the past few months. Their sandwiches are huge and excellent. In addition, their slice selection for pizzas are always decent (5-8 varieties with simple to complex options) and very cheap. The only downside is that the people taking the orders sometimes act like customers are a nuisance and they tend... More

Ah, the Real Deal. This place is a favorite of mine, whether eating there or ordering in. Their portion sizes are huge, so order a large with caution. The Uncle Junior is my favorite sandwich. My friends love their salads as well. The Real Deal is delicious and affordable, a wonderful place to grab some lunch or dinner.

We've eaten at the Jamaica Plain location a few times and have brought friends here as well. Not a fancy place (it's a pizzeria!) and the bathroom is so-so but the food is great. We always order the Classico veggie and at $17 for an 18" pizza, it is a real deal. The thin crust was crispy and the cheese/veggies... More

We visited Jamaica Plain for a week in October and ate here twice. My family loved it. They have very affordable prices and many options - salads, sandwiches, pizza, burgers and wraps. Most if not all selections were less than $10. I had the corn/avocado salad and it was fabulous. The chicken pesto sandwich and the portaballo mushroom sandwich were... More

Ate pizza. They were very accommodating about making it with less cheese and a variety of vegies, but the major complaint I had was that the crust was like cardboard.

Stopped by this restaurant while exploring different neighborhoods. I ordered the Green Monster which has 1/2 lb angus beef, avocado and maple apple bacon. I was asked how I wanted it cooked. I said medium. Now either the cook on the burger station doesn't know what that means or I got a burger that had been sitting around for a... More

I'm a big fan of The Real Deal. I have been going here for a few years now and I have never had a bad experience. My favorite sandwich is the Pesto Chicken. Mhhm yum! It's a family owned business that really makes sure the food is fresh as can be. The customer service is always so friendly, especially the... More

This is my 2nd time eating here; both times I really enjoyed the sandwiches. Chicken parm had an amazing tomato sauce and the bread was great, chicken very moist. They also have free refills on fountain drinks. My only complaint is that the menu is really hard to read on the wall because the print is so small. Casual place... More

I go there all the time not only for the great food but phenomenal customer service! Their pizza is where its at, so many varieties it will blow your mind. The size of them are huge and perfectly priced too. At the end of it they got you singing RIP RIP R I P just killed that pie, ate a... More
