Quick bite on the go. Would consider the tray of pizza too for takeout. Have their biscotti with my coffee daily

I read reviews first and decided to try this bakery, and it lived up to the reviews as far as the food goes. Their cannoli was the best I have eaten, and I'm picky about my cannoli. There were no lines and they only accept cash. Be aware no place to park in this area of the North End. Staff... More

Stopped by Saturday morning. Selected cannoli and their own baked cookies to taste test in comparison to Maria's on Cross Street. I found all my choices bland and lacking flavor. Cannoli filling was very flat and missing that subtle end sweetness. Service was distracted and cranky. If food/product is very good to great, I don't need preening but thought I... More

It is no frills. No seats. Just get your food and walk down a street. I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The pizza is fantastic and an inexpensive option for lunch. While I don't usually eat pastry, I have been told by plenty of people that this is as authentic as can be. And... More

Best biscotti I've ever had, other than home made. Delicious cannoli made to order. Wonderful breads, pastry, pizza dough - without the lines - just the locals.

All I can say is search it out and get a cannoli. They are fantastic. You will have a hard time leaving without an arm full of breads.

My friend and I did our own cannoli challenge. We sampled Modern, Mike's, Maria's, Bova's, & Parziale's. Parziale's had the best cannoli. Mike's came in 2nd place. Parziale's filling has perfect texture & sweetness. The best part is, they don't pre-fill the shells so they stay nice & crisp. Forget the long lines at the "big bakeries" on Hanover Street... More

Walked in for some Italian bread and walked out with that and an assortment of cookies. Everything looked fresh. Bread was excellent. Cookies were awesome. Tried a small variety but would have liked to have tried one of each (which was about 20 or so cookies). It wasn't expensive. Staff was nice. Next time I visit, I will hunt this... More
