This was the best lobster roll I've ever had. There had to be a pound of lobster meat on the sandwich, and everything else accented it perfectly. If you're looking for a fancy place, this isn't it. If you're looking for great seafood without paying a small fortune, this is your place.

We waited in a long, hot line for fabulous food and ended with an average or less meal. My husband had the lobster roll which he thought was good. I had the lobster Mac n cheese which was completely over cooked with tiny fragments of very chewy, tasteless lobster. I would recommend only getting the lobster roll, since his was... More

We had a list of places that sounded good from trip advisor that we wanted to try. It was Sunday and several places on our list were closed but not this place and I'm so happy we ended up here. It was just a block away from one of the stops on the tourist trolley we were riding so its... More

We wanted a break from the formal fish houses in Boston and asked for a real, down to earth place, and this one was recommended by some of the "locals". Just a short walk from Seaport we found basic outside seating, plain tables, and a nice line waiting to place eat-in, take out from a very nice menu. The food... More

Really great lobster rolls, with huge chunks (see my photo), Deli style, relaxing casual place, right down the street from Cirque Du Soliel!

Having lived in New England for almost 20 years, I know there are plenty of excellent seafood restaurants in the area. While this one was okay, it fell far short of our expectations based on reviews, most of which I can only assume have been written by visitors to Boston who may not have access to noteworthy seafood on a... If you are tired of more formal dining in Boston, this fun, order-at-the-counter seafood place with inside and outside seating will be a nice change. Pretty diverse menu with seafood standards (grilled, fried, steamed, etc.) as well as burgers, salads and sandwich standards for those in your party who are not seafood fans. My favorites were the fish tacos with mango... More

We stopped here late Sunday afternoon after a visit to the Harpoon brewery. We timed it right since there were only 3 people in line before us (while we were eating the line was always 6 or 7 people long). I ordered the clam platter with fried whole clams. The clams were large and tasty. They came with fries and... More

How can you beat really fresh seafood, the waterfront in South Boston, and a live concert by One Republic right next door at the Pavilion? On a recent business trip, that's how lucky I got. Ate late at night, around 9:00 PM on a beautifully warm Tuesday night. The concert next door provided great music and the outdoor seating provided... More

On our recent 3 day trip to Boston we decided to try this DDD place. We were not disappointed. The lobster roll was the best of the 5 we had on this trip. The Mac and Cheese was also very good. This is a small place and we didn't get there until about 3 PM. We were able to get... More
