Casual seafood

Went there with family, it was a small "take out" place with tables. There is no seating, you just grab a seat, order, and the order is brought to you. I had the lobster, it was fresh and yummy. I was a little disappointed with the butter, but it was ok. Fries were yummy. Best of all, free... read more

My daughter and I walked the Freedom Trail and wanted a lobster roll away from the touristy Boston area. We decided to walk to The Barking Crab, so that we could see part of Boston Harbor. This turned out to be a disaster after sitting and waiting for ten minutes with no service. While sitting, we found a review for... More

I will miss Yankee Lobster now that I'm back in the midwest. First time we made our way over to this tiny restaurant off the far end of the waterfront I had a cold lobster roll and my companion had crab cakes. We wished be had extra stomachs and could have another dinner right then! The second day I sent... More

small place but has it's own character. Had to wait in line to get in but they do have some outside seating when the weather is good. Well worth the wait to get some whole fried clams to satisfy a craving. And they serve beer and wine too.

My wife and I went into Boston to see Santana (great show!) and looked around for a place to eat. Most of the restaurants had no reservations available so we ended up at Yankee Lobster. It's very small - seats about 16 people at one time but the prices are reasonable. My wife had fish and chips and I had... More

This was my favorite lobster roll I have tried. Subtle dressing with taragon allowed the lobster to shine. Popular place, best to try during non-peak times to avoid a wait.

This was exactly what we were looking for. Fresh, casual seafood and good beer. Counter service, friendly people. Extensive menu. Hot lobster roll excellent. Haddock good. Our non seafood eaters enjoyed Caesar salad and chicken fingers, all good. Awesome local (very local as brewery down the street) Harpoon ipa on tap.

This place looks small but it is truly a gem. It is right beside the Harpoon brewery. I've had the lobster roll twice and I have to say it is the best lobster I've ever had. Must try!

I was staying within walking distance and was looking for a lobster roll. I called in an order to pick up a lobster roll. When I got there, the sandwich was waiting and boy was I glad I did an order for pick up as the restaurant was jammed packed. The lobster roll did not disappoint, I had it cold... More

In our travels to Boston for the day we had lunch at this restaurant just past the Fish Pier and the Trade Center. Free parking was located next to the building. Tables to eat at were inside the restaurant, in front on the sidewalk and on the other side of the building under umbrellas in a cute court yard. We... More
