first time at Yankee Lobster: unpretentious but oh so fresh. Had crabs and fish & chips/salad, The crabs were succulent from the first crack to the last bite. Simple, so tasty so fresh. Battered fish was moist, steamy and flavorful. I want to go back and try other items on the menu.

while walking to the ICA, I saw the Barking Crab and the name seemed intriguing ..... so we scoped it out while walking back from Harpoon Brewery. The prices seemed a bit high and the atmosphere put me off - there were piles of plates of half-eaten food and people sitting around elbow to elbow. I suppose that is the... More

We went looking for some authentic lobster, chowder and steamers in a shack-like environment. Yes, Legal Seafood is good, but sometime u just want great food without all the fancy restaurant frills. That's what we found at Yankee Lobster. Fresh seafood, tasty dishes in a downscale patio setting. It's part market, part restaurant and all authentic. Drop by for a... More

I ordered the lobster roll and it was delicious! There was a long line when we arrived around 7:45PM, but I noticed it had died down significantly around 8:30PM. Great location and an easy walk to other seaport attractions.

First when you get here parking is an issue, then you go in and wait to order, 30 minutes later we get our 2 hot rolls to go. They were good but at 18.95 a piece , no place to sit, it was crowded and loud, I waited 30 minutes! Forget it, I can go other places with just as... More

Great fresh seafood at a classic New England fish shack. Limited but nice draft beer selection to pair with meal. You stand on line & put in your order. Your name is called to come and get your food when it is ready. The staff are capable and positive -a necessity- given that the place is teeny tiny with limited... More

After a long day walking around Boston we found Yankee Lobster and proceeded to settle in for an early dinner. Went a little overboard on the ordering and ended up with a massive selection of food - lobster, crabs, shrimp, scallops! We proceeded to take our time, drinking beer from plastic cups and working our way through the food over... More

We had to take two subway lines and a bus to get there, but it was totally worth it! We had the lobster roll which had large chunks of lobster and not much bread and the lobster mac n cheese which we ordered only because of the rave reviews on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives...it was "to die for," with lobster... The self service restaurant is serving many daily fresh food and some menu might be available depend on what they can catch. The recommend menu is Lobster from the pot (1 1/4 lb. cost 22.99USD) and bucket o'crabs (3 for 14.99USD). the best light lunch... More
