I really enjoyed the food here. Some delicious Italian meals and convenient to my hotel. Service was okay, nothing fantastic, but our server was available when needed. Portions are large so you get your money's worth. Appetizers were very good. But if you are looking for a place to have an intimate dinner with soft conversation, this isn't the place.... More

First let me say that I LOVE Salvatore's in Medford! The location in the theater district is a whole different experience. It is cramped and loud but literally next door to the opera House. I think their proximity to the theater is what keeps them open. The waiter we had was awful! Wanted us in and out and barely said... More

We had dinner there a week ago. Very crowded, very noisy, poor service, and the worst Italian food we have ever had. The veal dishes were soggy and oily. The capuccinos didn't deserve to be called that. And it was expensive. There are many restaurants in the area now (compared to two years or so ago when there were fewer).... More

I always order take-out at Salvatore's when passing through Boston. the prices and portions feel like they are from another era. One "slice" is 1/4 of an entire pie and averages around $5.50. I prefer the BBQ Chicken. The staff know me, and when I showed up on night and they BBQ Chicken had been sold out, they threw a... More

You will only need one large pie to feed like 6 adults these slices are massive but sooo delicious. You can really taste the freshness in the homemade sauce and loved the toasted flavor in the crust. Definitely eating there again!

The food is fresh and taste great! We got calamari and garlic bread for appetizers and pizza for dinner. Portions were large. Waiter was very good. Recommended by the hotel we stayed at in Boston. We enjoyed this restaurant.

I had the chicken Marsala and substituted pasta for the potatoes. Moist chicken and good sauce. Staff kept up the pace just right.

Salvatore's is located in South Boston where all of the up and coming restaurants, bars and night life are evolving. We wanted to try some delicious italian food and we picked Salvatore's to dine on our first night in Boston. When we arrived we were ushered back into the restaurant while passing a huge bar which was loaded with lots... More

We didn't dine in this time but have in the past. Very good food, nice ambiance. They also have take out which worked out great for the kiddos who needed pizza @ midnight. LOL. We will return.
