We happened upon The Blackstone Grille on our way back to the hotel. We wanted to catch the end of the World Cup game and hurricane Arthur was dumping serious rain. The bartender was very attentive and kept the drinks and water flowing. We didn't eat there, but he happily recommended a pizza place for dinner.

The Blackstone grill is a small bar with a limited bar menu ,there are a few tall tables against the wall and a fairly long bar on the opposite side, they have a good selection of draft beers and a few unique beers as well . The bar menu is limited however the food seems to be cooked very well... More

I went in on a tuesday afternoon so it was pretty empty. We were served by the bartender who was extremely nice and attentive. I had the Flynn burger and it was messy but delicious. It was kind of expensive but that's what you get in the Boston area.

We were celebrating my birthday and had purchased a coupon on restaurant.com for this place. Checked the website for their hours and off we went. Parked in Boston and walked about 3/4 of a mile, in the cold to the restaurant. We got there about 12:10 and they open at 11:30. We walked in and the man at the bar... More

Years ago I went here. Loved it . . .had some pretty awesome scallops. Now, in 2014, I went here and, well, was let down. The menu has changed to a traditional bar fare. The scallops were gone, the room was thin, and the atmosphere didn't make me want to stay and linger. In short, a younger crowd is here.

I can't comment on the food here as I only stopped for a few drinks but the only rule I have about any bar is if I can't talk to the person I'm with without yelling into their ear its too loud.

Went there for a brew on the first day of our trip. Great atmosphere and even better service! Had to go back to try the food... EXCELLENT!!! Had a delicious steak sandwich and a brew that is only found on tap in Boston. Would go back any day of the week!

We have visited Boston many times and always return here for their magnificent Wings and Bloody Marys. I can honestly say that they can't be beaten. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming and we will always return.

Stopped in on Labor Day evening. The waitress was friendly enough and the beer was cold, but the food was terrible. I've reheated wings better than they did, and the nachos were basically shredded cheese thrown over some chips and shoved in the microwave.
