We visited this bar twice on our recent visit to boston. This is a great place if you want to watch sports but you also want a seat to do so. $3 dos Equis were a great deal, food was really good too.

We were exploring the historical North End yesterday, and whilst walking the Freedom a Trail came across this place. It's a very atmospheric building with a friendly jolly chap in charge. I chose fish & chips which was delicious and it came with red cabbage coleslaw, wonderful. Highly recommend.

We visited for lunch on New Years Day. This is a friendly pub which also serves good honest grub. I had fish & chips washed down with a couple of pints of local beer. A great experience, excellent food and beer, and a very friendly landlord.

We love stopping here for drinks. Older crowd usually 25 years old and up. Live music most weekends. I have never had to pay a cover, which is a huge plus! Bartenders are very friendly and knowledgable. Drinks are cheaper than other bars in the area. Will return whenever in the area.

We visited this bar because we thought it looked cozy inside. The servers were ok, not the usual fantastic service I've got used to in Boston, but acceptable...unfortunately the barman was positively rude. Initially I simply thought it was someone with an attitude problem until I saw him talk to several American customers in a friendly manner, which led me... More

This was my second visit to the Blackstone Grill and unfortunately, it will be my last. The beer selection is fantastic and the area it's located in is accessible and gorgeous (the cobblestone outside is perfect) but the service was shockingly underwhelming and the food left much to be desired. When traveling, I tend to prefer eating at the bar... More

This place is great! Ed made us feel welcome, suggested fantastic food, and was a great conversationalist regarding beer. We had a wonderful meal and great beers.

Great bar, fab staff, good atmosphere. We called in last thing at night for a beer or two and a burger and it was spot-on. Highly recommended.

It was nice to find a place that wasn't super crowded. The food was good, the special of a lobster roll was great, skip the nachos, not much cheese on them. Ryan the server was great and gave the kids some money for the jukebox....

Good selection of beer. Nice menu with the typical pub food. Good atmosphere with live music. Nothing to get too excited about.
