Pre-Game Drink and Snack!

A great pre-game spot for a drink and snack. Love that you can grab a beer from the cart the moment you walk in, so that then you can take a moment to decide on your spot to sit at the various bars. Tasty food and reasonable (for a city, for right near Fenway) prices.

My husband and I ate here when we were in town for a Red Sox game. Before the game, we grabbed some food and beers. The atmosphere was that of a sports bar (obviously) and had plenty of TVs. I ordered a burger and it was red inside when it came out and they politely took it back and brought... More

My husband and I went to Game On for a beer and some lunch before the Red Sox game. Every time we would say we were going to try it and would end up at the same place. This time it was a go. Our waitress was Bri and she was awesome. We tried the Pretzel appetizer and let me... More

Fun atmosphere year round. Food is good. I felt a little "old" as most of the crowd was 21 to 30 yr olds but still a fun place.

Ended up here after we tried to go to the nearby (and very crowded) Cask 'n Flagon for dinner before a Friday night Red Sox game. Much less crowded (at least when we got there, it did start to fill up later), food was great, prices were reasonable.

My husband and I went to Game On! for a beer and a bite before the game at Fenway on 7/26/15. We had an excellent time sitting at the bar. Our bartenders, Bill & Megan, were awesome! The beer was cold and the Italian Sausage & chips were fantastic. They certainly do not skip on portion sizes. I asked for... More

We love this place! If you like to mix ping pong, family and friends, and food, this is the place for you! (And drinks if your old enough!). This high energy restaurant/bar is fun and the food is good too! We are from MD but visit here since my husband is a Boston fan (Go Orioles!) and we always end... More

Showed up before a concert for a quick cold one. Six bucks for a bottle. Really? Beer was ice cold but pricey nevertheless.

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
