Great Burger

They say the make their own bread and grind their own meat every morning. However they do it, this was one of the best burgers I've ever had.

Ended up at this restaurant somewhat due to happenstance, as our group could not get a large enough table at the originally planned dining location. We all ended up being very happy about the choice and really enjoyed a good dinner there. The restaurant is right near Faneuil Hall so it is in a rather touristy area. It is also... More

Went here having been to the Park Avenue branch. Restaurant not a chic however service was probably better. Food was very good also however Park Avenue gets the nod. Worth a visit.

Just the most atrocious Caesar salad ever served. If you are going to add peanut flavoring it does not work and it could have health issues for people with food allergies. And cilantro in a Caesar salad? Ugh! And for about $20? Never again.

Nothing less of what you'd expect from the Houston's/Hillstone group. Professional & friendly service, delicious food & fabulous location.

After reading the reviews I was expecting to have a much different dining experience but I must confess the hype over this restaurant is inflated. I arrived at 6:25 PM on 3/31/15 after my driver had spent more than a little time trying to find this restaurant. Why? Because the address is shared with an office building (E Trade) and... More

All of the food at this restaurant is excellent but their sushi is by far the best I have ever had and I have been to many top-notch sushi restaurants. The location is perfect, ambiance is cool-chic-romantic-fun... whatever you want it to be. The staff are professional and courteous. If you are in the Boston / Faneuil Hall area you... More

Hillstones is a chain restaurant. However, don't think of chilli's or cheesecake factory, this is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. It's an upscale restaurant that's not stuffy. You can be dressed up or more casual to dine here. The wait staff is the best in Boston. I eat here about 3 times/month and more in the summer. They... More

No restaurant can be perfect every time, I get that. I go here about 10 times a year and this was the first time I was motivated to write a review, good or bad. This particular week it was a romantic birthday dinner. As always, the drinks are made well, the atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. With no reservation we... More

A reliable favorite for business lunches, for a relaxed dinner, or drinks. Frankly any 5 star reviews or terms like 'amazing' are greatly out of place. The food ranges from adequate to good, without any dashes of excellent. What makes this place nice, and moderate food bearable, is just wonderful decor and lighting than really elevate the experience. Highly recommend... More
