We went as parents with 3 children and were well hosted for this visit. Very attentive service and well stuffed plates with finely spiced meat and salads. Good value for the money and family friendly. Go for the child portions, which are less priced and largely big enough for children.

We have frequented other Hillstones/Houstons in other cities for many years and always have a great time. This last time was no different. Family dinner, lucky enough to walk in about 10 minutes before the rush crowd, were seated within 15 minutes of arriving; service very good; steaks and baked potatoes were fantastic. Its not the cheapest of places, but... More

I took an desire for steak and after a web search found Hillstone. Arrived with no reservation but they found space for me at the bar. Staff very attentive and the service was great. Sorry to say the steak was average at best and lacked any real beef flavour, a real shame particularly given the price. The burgers looked great... More

Loved the way they took care of my family. Kids were greated at the door by the kitchen staff and given a place of string fries. (Yummy) Sad note, due to the large party size, 6.... we had to use two separate booths. We were told it would take 3 hours to have a booth that could fit everyone so... More

Like most Hillstone restaurants, the menu is reliable but also predictable. Having said that, the food was good and well priced. The restaurant is large and there is a small seating area outside; despite its size, service was polite and attentive and there was a really lively atmosphere.

I've been to Hillstone several times before and had left with a great impression each time. This visit did not allow as great an experience as I did before. Several things we asked for were not available. Some family members were not satisfied with what they had but mine was very good: Yellowtail sashimi with baby kale- very worth trying.

Wandering around the city and stopped into Hillstone for a drink with my husband. Atmosphere is perfect - dark and modern and warm. Lovely bar. Good drinks. We ended up eating dinner here as well. We had spicy tuna rolls and a Thai steak salad. The sushi was outstanding. The salad flavors were great. My only criticisms are that the... More

I bumped into a local on the fery and she recommended the palce and that Iorder teh Ahi tuna burger. I was not disappointed. The burger was large, accompanied by my choice of couscous salad. Aglass of Sauvignon Blanc completed the picture and voila! Agreat lunch in a hot day! The only problem: I ordered an espresso and teh waiter... More

What more can I say...came here on my first night in Boston on business with a couple of colleagues. It's next to Fanueil Hall which is a bit touristy but this place isn't at all. It's busy - we were told there was a 15 minute wait for dinner so we took some seats at the bar and were served... More
