I had the slab of ribs with a baked potato and slaw. I must say that the ribs were smoky and fall off the bone tender. I thoroughly enjoyed them. The service was incredible and the waitress was thoughtful and helpful. Lastly, for dessert, I had the best brownie with ice cream I've ever eaten. If you are out shopping... More

We stumbled onto Hillstone while wandering around the Quincy Market area. It was in between lunch and dinner -- around 4 p.m. -- so the place wasn't crowded. We were seated immediately and had a wonderful late lunch -- California burger for my wife and ahi tuna burger for me. The decor and atmosphere are very inviting -- comfortable booths,... More

This place is very convenient if you hve been shopping or sightseeing in the Quincy Market area of Boston. It has a good atmosphere, reasonable wine list for wine by the glass. Cocktails looking interesting! We didn't eat but spent a very pleasant hour relaxing. Service was good. A favourite stop off in Boston.

Although I understand this is a chain, it is a go to place for me in Boston. Great food. Friendly service...especially for a solo traveler. Nice atmosphere. And don't be fooled, it can be and often is packed with locals. You can't miss with the ribs or the Thai steak salad!

We recently went to Hillstone for lunch and it was wonderful! The reason I love this place so much is because every table is a SUPER comfy booth! No awkward tables in the middle of the restaurant floor! The ambiance is really nice with low lighting and chic atmosphere. Our server was great, and our sandwiches were huge and filling.... More

We went to Hillstone for my birthday dinner because when visiting Scottsdale AZ one of our favorite restaurants is Holliston's sister restaurant Houston's. What a delight! I had the Thai Noodle Steak Salad, which is a marvelous blend of flavors and really not a salad. My companion had the Prime Rib, and said it was without a doubt the best... More

My wife and I had dinner at Hillstone last night. I believe this was our 5th time there, and as usually Hillstone never disappoints. We like get stop at the bar before our reservation time for a cocktail. The bartenders are attentive, professional and friendly. And the drinks are well made. The dinner menu features a nice variety of items.... More

Had a business lunch. Food is great, especially taking into account how fast it was served. Beware, portions are large. Take it into account if you need to keep on working afterwards... :) Very welcoming and efficient staff.

Hillstone is a great restaurant and worth a visit. I ate lunch there while in Boston for business, and the food, service, and ambiance were excellent. The drink menu was tempting but I was, unfortunately, unable to partake. Not a cheap meal, but worth it, in my opinion. Expect to wait for a table (at least at lunch), but the... More

Loved the kale cashew salad and the California burger. I do it like sushi but the menu looked great. Seasonal menu. Nice food presentation. Friendly attentive waitstaff. Regretting my choice not to view the dessert menu. Only con for business dinner is the lighting. Very dark and the light over the table is like a spot light.
