Nice Surprise!

Had a late dinner on a Saturday night after arriving in Boston. My friend made reservations for 9PM. I loved the parking lot next door - free parking with validation from Gaslight! When we walked in, we were hit with low lighting and room full of people having a great time. The restaurant... read more

Went here for celebratory dinner - Highly recommend the escargot or bone marrow as appetizers. Most of the entree choices are really interesting - the duck and pork chops were particularly well done. All in all, fast service and really good food.

Gaslight is the absolute best for brunch, I have been for dinner and honestly it was not the best experience but Bruch! Oh Brunch! Everything on the menu is amazing. There is a prix fixe menu that is incredibly affordable and includes a drink for less than 15$. We always bring out of towners here because there is also a... More

Great location in a rapidly up and coming part of the city. Free parking with validation next door. Classic bistro setup with subway tile décor and interesting accents. Excellent cocktails and duck confit. Loved it!

This is an old factory building in the South End (where my husband grew up), and it's very inviting. The noise level was a little much with all the hard surfaces and a big crowd, but we enjoyed it. I had the caramelized onion & bacon tarte (de-lish), and my husband had the tasso ham with eggs. We were too... More

Went to Gaslight based on a recommendation. While we enjoyed what we ordered , the portion served had to be beefed up with additional side orders and that then become a costly brunch. If they place you at some spots in the restaurant, you could face the heavy traffic of waiters/servers as well as facing the restaurant kitchen/cleaning areas etc.

Free parking. That's a perk.Ambiance is relaxing and comfortable. Pear martini is the best. Moules Frites is a delicious dish, but so are many of their items. Specials are always excellent.

Came here for a quick drink and bite. Lots of different drink selections and my draft beer was very good. Staff was very attentive and helped with selections. The food was a French selection so didn't have much for my tastes but we did have meat and cheese tray we enjoyed.

Went with friends who are Locals on a recent trip to Boston, their choice & their favourite restaurant it was a good pick. Service was excellent, oysters superb, I can highly recommend the roasted marrow starter. My steak was grilled bleu exactly as requested. A suggested improvement would be to offer a porter or a stout to accompany the oysters... More

Been there twice in the past 3 months. Love the tasteful French decor. The food is great and so is the service. Price is very reasonable as well. Reservations highly recommended! It's also conveniently located next to the SoWa markets.
