Tasty, busy, French, noisy at Sunday brunch

Great place for Sunday brunch. It's obviously THE place to go. Reservations are advised. James was a patient and tactful waiter, recovering from a couple of minor fumbles by the kitchen, none of which seemed to have been of his doing. Frites with omelettes are great ! I will definitely go here... read more

If you are looking for food and decor that reminds you of your favorite Paris bistro (or Artisanal Fromagerie & Bistro in NYC) then give Gaslight a try. From the black and white tiled floor, to the bistro tables, Gaslight captures the essence of a bistro. The greeting at the front desk was warm and welcoming and I was quickly... More

Came here for weekend brunch and was not disappointed. Lots of egg choices but had the Niçoise salad which had a large amount of tuna on it and very good dressing. My husband had the smoked salmon and my daughter the short rib sandwich. Overall the portions were ample and don't miss out on the chocolate beignets for dessert. They... More

We visited for dinner on a Friday night. It wasn't crowded, but definitely had a great atmosphere with original floor tile and subway tile throughout. The service was fantastic as I didn't drink two sips of my water and someone was there to refill. I had the salmon which was delicious and cooked perfectly. All in all a great dining... More

I've always loved this place. Great atmosphere, good service and a varied menu. The steak frites have always been one of my favorites, although the last couple of times I've been a bit disappointed with the dish (once way over salted, the other way too rare). C'mon, guys, a medium rare steak is a no-brainer. That said, I keep going... More

We have been visiting the Gaslight since it first opened and my last review was in 2013. This time I brought a friend who had never visited the restaurant and they were delighted with the food, service and ambiance. For those who have never visited the Gaslight the walls are white tile and it simulates a restaurant in France. The... More

The waiters and waitresses were super attentive, and the food, though a bit pricey, was absolutely delicious. Everything felt very gourmet. The ambiance inside the restaurant is also very neat.

This is one of my favorite places to meet friends for Brunch in Boston! Why? Not only for the free parking (rare in Boston) but also for their fabulous prix fix menu for Brunch, that went from $9.95 to $11.95... Still a bargain! You have a choice of coffee or tea, freshly squeezed OJ or grapefruit juice and then an... More

Really enjoyed our dinner at Gaslight. Terrific meal with some great moderately priced wine options. The charcuterie plate was amazing! Yum!

We had a meal for 5 people for supper - Atmosphere - The building is a refurbished old factory and has a nice feel it, inside the restaurant had a nice buzz to it that was not too loud. - Food - Everyone agreed that the food was excellent - we had very well cooked steaks and one very well... More
