Quick Drink

Came here for a quick drink and bite. Lots of different drink selections and my draft beer was very good. Staff was very attentive and helped with selections. The food was a French selection so didn't have much for my tastes but we did have meat and cheese tray we enjoyed.

Went with friends who are Locals on a recent trip to Boston, their choice & their favourite restaurant it was a good pick. Service was excellent, oysters superb, I can highly recommend the roasted marrow starter. My steak was grilled bleu exactly as requested. A suggested improvement would be to offer a porter or a stout to accompany the oysters... More

Been there twice in the past 3 months. Love the tasteful French decor. The food is great and so is the service. Price is very reasonable as well. Reservations highly recommended! It's also conveniently located next to the SoWa markets.

Stopped in on a beautiful spring evening. We got there at 5:45 without a reservation and they could only seat us at the bar, which was fine. If you do plan on a weekend, definitely a reservation is in order. They offer a 3 course prix fixe dinner from 5-6, which has several choices. The portions are reasonable, and the... More

These folks know how to build loyalty. Always greeted with a smile and an "I'm glad you're here attitude." James McCarthy was our waiter, suggested the pork chop (largest one I've ever had), it was delicious, and he saved the half I couldn't finish so I could pick it up After theater!! The food is always delicious.

my wife and I wanted a nice place for our anniversary dinner and decided on Gaslight, where we have eaten many times before. . A deciding factor was the steak tartare appetizer, fabulous, and free parking next door. The ambience, decor and staff are always impeccable, and we had not been here in about a year.,but it was Perfection once again. A... More

Enjoyed a nice, family meal before sending our daughter back to college. Started with oysters and beet salad. The oysters were fresh and well shucked. The beet salad was a bit overwhelming in size and taste (more like a pile of slaw with nuts and creme fresh on the side). Both kids had steak frites with little to spare. I... More

Went for brunch on a Saturday afternoon at 1:00 and the place was packed. Being a party of 5 we planned ahead and made a reservation. The Bellini's and Mimosa's were great. I had the Crepes Parisienne-delicious. Others had Croque-Madame (a big hit) and Omlettes. Great brunch place! Next time we plan on going for dinner.

I am judging only the brunch since I have not had dinner there in a while. The place is sizzling on a Sunday, lots of people and long wait. But it's a nice atmosphere. Service is courteous and professional. Food however is average. Nothing was extraordinary for brunch. We were four and sampled four different offerings, nothing was really great.... More

We had a great Sunday brunch at Gaslight brasserie this week. The French Onion soup flavored with truffled short rib was a new and tasty experience, which preceded an equally delicious Tasso Ham Tartine. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the Berkshire Pork Hache, Carmelized Onion Tart, and Shaved Beet Root salade offerings. The pastries were tasty and the coffee hot and... More
