I love this restaurant. Everything on the menu is delicious! The staff is nice, and the cocktails and wine are great. A must visit when in Boston :)
Was in town visiting friends who love this place. It did not disappoint. The staff is friendly, accommodating and took great care of us. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, had drinks, apps and rolls. All were fantastic, and priced well. I highly recommend going for Haru hour.
I picked Huru for dinner as it was so near my hotel. I was exhausted and wanted a nice light meal without a long walk. The place is modern and sleek. It had a nice patio area for dining outdoors on Huntington Ave. I however was very surprised that dinner time on a beautiful night the restaurant was less than... More
Stopped here for a late night bite to eat. The spicy crunchy tuna rolls were great. They have a happy hour that starts at 10pm for those looking for late night food. I was in the city for business and busy during traditional dinner time. Trendy setting. It was pretty busy. Prices are good. I posted a pic of the... More
This restaurant is just on the outskirts of downtown. It has a good atmosphere & the food is of good quality & well cooked. The sushi is made in open kitchens by chefs in front of you. Portions are not too big which is a nice change in the US. Not cheap, but would recommend. We did have to send... More
Came here for a business dinner. The place was packed, which in retrospect I find rather surprising. Problem is, the food did not live up to expectations. What I got was a heavily Americanized version of Japanese food. The first hint at this was when the miso soup was served as a starter rather than with the main dish, as... More
Great variety of dishes and good quality food. A little bit pricey if you consider the portions, which are smaller than they usually are in the area. Tasty and well presented dishes. Sushi rolls delicately made but salads, especially the seaweed salad, seem to be too small and rapidly assembled. Nice staff and good decoration.
One of the top sushi restaurants for taste and THE best for presentation. It felt like eating works of art. We were 5 so we tried many combinations that we shared and were all very good and one of the most elegant presentation is the Symphony. Our daughter is vegetarian and the waitress was very helpful proposing something that didn't... More
Excellent for novices, sushi virgins and veterans alike. I especially like the Boston Uncommon and Back Bay rolls. Been there twice and had a memorable time on both occasions. Nathan, our server, was sincere, personable and quirky funny in all the best ways. Go to Haru!
Haru is quite large with a separate bar and lounge area for more casual dining, a long sushi bar and a restaurant that looks out onto Huntington Ave. Asian-inspired art work adorns the walls and their lighting gives a feeling of warmth and serenity. There are a couple of menus from the cocktail, to their main to the Happy Hour... More
