Good variety

We ate here while on business downtown. Good sushi and other options besides. The fillet and grilled chicken appetizers, combined with sushi forms a lovely meal for two.

I used to go to Haru a lot in NYC so am pretty familiar with the restaurant chain. The fish was good, not super fresh but it was fine. The rice was over vinegared which detracted a lot for me. It isn't supposed to be that aggressively vinegared.

Ate here for lunch during a conference and the sushi and service were good. My co-worker raved about the green salad with chicken which was beautifully and colorfully presented. l would definitely return if in Boston again.

So, i love sushi but i love efficiency even more. First, the food... The boston uncommon roll, california roll, dynamite, strawberry and dragon roll were all fantastic. Loved them, the tuna tartar with quail egg was very fresh and nicely served. The taco sushi was interesting. Would eat food again. Service? HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. She really tried but it took forever... We were staying across the street and noticed this new Japanese restaurant. It was snowing and since haru is summer, we thought we needed some summer. Very nice service and good fish on the rice. I come from a family that does not like the sushi too sweet; vinegary is best and this rice was good. I thought that the... More

This little sushi place seems tucked away past the Cheesecake Factory and 5 Napkins by Copley. The sign isn't easy to spot from a distance, but we certainly were glad that we walked the extra distance to discover just what Haru was. This well appointed, quiet, service-oriented restaurant was just the ticket for our lunch. the sushi was very good,... More

The food was very good and all, but the service was spectacular. This was our "first meal" after our son's surgery in Boston -- our first non-hospital concession and non-fast food meal in about two weeks -- so any decent meal would have been fantastic, but this was better. But the real sweet icing on the cake was the amazing... More

I've been to this restaurant a couple of times during weekdays, and the food is always good there! The service is always good to, and very attentive. The only complaint is that the last time we've been there on a Saturday, and we waited for more than a hour for our food (because we were a large table, more than... More

Good Sushi with a lot of choices and presented well. Nice location across the street from Copley Marriott. For a downtown location I would say the pricing is pretty reasonable. The staff is helpful and "Jenny" behind the bar was pretty funny with some good stories and definitely added to the overall experience.

I love sushi me this exceeded my expectations! The fish was fresh and abundant in each roll. I had the spicy tuna and salmon jalapeño roll, both were excellent! Great, quiet atmosphere for an afternoon while my husband was at a meeting!
