We went there for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon and were not disappointed. We've eaten in many Indian restos over the years and although not experts in Indian food , we recognize well prepared food. The positions were adequate. Although naan is not a measure of a meal, it can be a measure of the restaurant, and the naan... More

They have great lunch buffet! I love their curry! They are always very clean and service is great. During the summer they have outside patio seatings. It is very nice restaurant!

I enjoyed dinner at Kashmir with a friend. The restaurant is located on fashionable Newbury Street, near the convention center, in Back Bay. The food was very good, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes which we shared. We started with Vegetable Samosas (hot, crispy, tender), and enjoyed main courses of Tandoori Tikka and a vegetarian curry the name of which eludes... More

I want to start out and say the restaurant has a decent vibe going on. The wait staff was a bit slow and not very attentive. The chicken tikka masala was lacking flavor as was everything else we had. The prices are defiantly on the high end of the scale ($20+ a plate). I have been to less expensive venues... More

I was impressed by the speed of the service, with very friendly staff and good food. Quite large, with outdoor seating, the restaurant sat us promptly with immediate beverage service. The mattar paneer was flavorful, as were the samosas and my companion had the chicken tikka, which was cooked perfectly with the right amount of spicing. It was not a... More

Kashmir is in a nice location, close walking distance to back bay hotels. I am always dreaming of burning hot Indian food, so asked the server to 'blister my tongue", make the dish the hottest the cooks could manage. Service was average. The Murgh Curry was warm, but spice was very disappointing. Flavorful, and nice quality chicken. but much more... More

Lamb tiki masala! One of the few places that doe it right. It's a bit pricy - $19 for dinner prices but oh so yummy. You can sit outside during the summer which is lovely and it's nice inside too. It's a pretty spacious restaurant. The service is always friendly and timely. I've never had a bad experience here. Great... More

I returned to this restaurant with family after having visited here a year ago, because I had a positive experience the first time. We were not disappointed, and found the restaurant thriving, even on a cold and snowy night. The food is very savory, slightly under-spiced (i.e. if you want medium, order medium-hot). The dishes we got, including an eggplant... More

The waiter recommended a dish which was soft and over cooked; We sent it back, the restaurant manager said..."you ate most of the 3 (out of 6) mushy shrimp." Sorry. He was rude, rude, rude. We have eaten there many times and he did not seem to understand good restaurant etiquette and protocol. If the the dish is unacceptable, the... More
