Excellent Indian Food! It is downstairs on Newberry Street and worth finding! The walk up and down Newberry Street was fun and so many people, students, street performers and safe environment! All the food was delicious and look forward to our next trip back!

I went with a group of friends and because of the size of the group were seated indoors where the atmosphere was slightly claustrophobic and heavy with the expected aromas of Indian cuisine. We ordered assorted dishes and the food was average except for the samosas which were good. The kebab platter, the lamb and chicken dishes were just okay.... More

Had the goat biryani with naan and Baighan bharta (eggplant), the mild was spicy but tolerable. Gulab jamun for desert was good. Would eat there again.

We went for Indian food, after seeing the others in the area and passing. It is right near a T-stop in a small shops type of Boston street. The main restaurant is below street level.

I went to Kashmir with family and children based on great reviews from Tripadvisor. Living in NJ for over 15 years, I found their food to be average compare to what we get in NJ. I had very high hopes as this restaurant is in the heart of the most happening street of Boston area. I have never eaten aloo... More

Found this gem whilst waiting for my good lady on Newbury Street. I was in dire need of something hot and spicy and booked a table for 19:00. The place was full but we got our table ; we chose inside due to the heat outside. We ordered Chicken Chat starters, with prawn madras and chicken dupiatza. Washed down with... More

Never written a review before but here goes, we ordered at 8:35 pm, we ordered the specials for the night. No food until 9:35 pm. Thought specials were supposed to be faster to prepare the rest of the menu. Asked twice what is taking so long and were told the Kitchen is really busy. Also the place is insanely loud.... More

279 Newbury St. -- A very nice and cozy Indian restaurant with a terrace. A very welcoming staff and atmosphere serving good food. For those who do not know, this restaurant does not serve beef. After the meal, they prepared a very hot chicken curry to take out. Since there are not many Indian restaurants in the area, I would... More

I ate here with three other people. If it hadn't been raining, we would have loved to sit outside and been part of the great street scene on Newbury. All four of us loved everything we ordered and the service was friendly and efficient. We got there early which was good because the place filled up fast after 7:00. Take... More
