Simple delicious indian food

As a brit its been a task to find a good indian restaurant but Kashmir was a winner. The food was exceptional. The vindaloo was wonderfully spiced and hot and the chicken tikka was juicy and so tasty. My only gripe was the bathrooms. Its a large restaurant and they only have two bathrooms... read more

I was walking along Newbury Street and spotted 'Kashmir' and thought I'd give it a try as I was missing Punjabi/Indian flavours and spices. Very friendly and pleasant staff. I ordered the mixed tandoori grill as a main and the 'kheer' (rice pudding) for dessert. The tandoori chicken was nice, but the lamb was too dry and the chicken tikka... More

Really good food that we would go back and eat again. Bathroom needs to be cleaned more often it was a mess!! Food was really good, fast and hot, had some trouble when paying with cash but credit card transactions were accurate. We would go back and eat here again.

Stayed at the Sheraton in Boston. The Kashmir restaurant is a short walk from there. Ate at this restaurant yesterday. The service was excellent, and the food was tasty. However the quantity was a bit too much, and not wanting to waste any food, I ate more than I normally do. (My hotel room had no fridge or microwave, or... More

We went there for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon and were not disappointed. I enjoyed dinner at Kashmir with a friend. The restaurant is located on fashionable Newbury Street, near the convention center, in Back Bay. The food was very good, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes which we shared. We started with Vegetable Samosas (hot, crispy, tender), and enjoyed main courses of Tandoori Tikka and a vegetarian curry the name of which eludes... More
