Indian food, good service and that's it.

Kashmir is well located and offers typical Indian cusine. The food is not bad, the service is not bad however not memorable. The chicken pakora was good but a bit too dry. The goat masala had a fantastic sauce but way too bony and not enough meat. Prices are very reasonable however. Great place if... read more

Its in a great area of the city Newbury Street. However, the food is like average. The lunch buffet is the best option to go for.

Our group of nine had great service, food was served promptly and prepared well. We were given options for levels of spice and good guidance. Good choices for both carnivores and vegetarians.

The service was welcoming and friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The tamarind martini was yummy. But the toilets were very dirty and an extremely unpleasant experience.

If I hadn't heard about this place I would have noticed it and probably not wanted to dine there. The place it self is very raw, not very cozy and sorry to say not very clean...(at least the toilets!). The service was ok, but the food they brought us made it all worth while. It was absolutely delicious. It was... More

We had dinner there on Friday with friends, very disappointing. Service is great, but food is below average. You know good Indian food once you've tried it, this wasn't the case.

We were here for dinner while visiting Boston. The meal was nice, both curries were tasty (we had a chicken korma and a lamb rogan josh) although my lamb dish was a little watery tasting (and the lamb was a bit tough). Peshawari naan was lovely! Reasonably priced for what it was. Very quick service (we were there on a... More

I had a reservation for dinner on Saturday night but a very large crowd in a small area near the door. There were people waiting for tables, takeout and people trying to leave. This was a bit chaotic but only had to wait a few minutes after the reservation time to get a table. The food and service is very... More

A typical Indian restaurant. There are opinions from very mild to very hot. If you like spice hot is already spice. But if you want adventure try very hot but order a lot of bread and water. The food is very taste. A lot of fun if you like Indian food. Recommended.

ordered some veg samosas as appetizer and a shrimp and chicken curry off their lunch menu. medium hot was not spicy enough for our taste but may be ok for some folks. would say good overall but by no means outstanding. maybe other items off the menu could be better choices? anyway, as a disclaimer, we're kind of spoiled having... Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
