The last time I was here, I wasn't blown away and didn't think the quality was up to KO's other places. However, this time, needing a place to grab something quick before seeing the Street Dogs at the HOB, we stopped in for take-out tacos (altohugh we did sit in the small area near the take out counter). The three... More

A co-worker and I stayed in Boston last month. We happened upon this restaurant. It was pretty empty and we were thinking about going somewhere else. Then we realized how early it was (about 5pm). The food was delicious!!! I had the braised ribs taco. Sooo good!!!

I was told by a friend to try this mexican place out and it was a bit average to me. The frozen margaritas were pretty good. The menu lacks options and few classic mexican entrees. We picked chips and salsa which was good but was told by waiter they didnt have a queso which seemed craxy to me. I have... More

I'm Mexican, this is average. If you haven't been to Mexico is good, but not very authentic. If have been to Mexico and have had street mexican food, you'll be disappointed. It is expensive for what it is.

We ate lunch at the taqueria, one table only, since the main restaurant does not open till 5 pm. The meat in the carne asada taco was superb--tender and very tasty. However, the veggie burrito was a soggy and tasteless mess. For less money you can get a better burrito at Moe's Southwest Grill. There are many authentic Mexican taquerias... More

We took a strong recommendation on this place from the front desk at the Hotel Commonwealth and they were right. It really was some of the best Mexican we have had. La Verdad's dining room is a simple array of deuces and fours that wrap around a large island bar and the place definitely reflects the Fenway Park neighborhood, with... More

We stopped in for dinner before the Specials concert at THB...got a table for 6 outside. Started out with just drinks and apps: margarita selection was great and all delicious, other drink choices were excellent too..loved the fresh squeezed paloma with tequila blanco, grapefruit and lime - it was so refreshing for a hot evening.... no one was disappointed! Stopped here for a quick meal before the game and was very satisfied. I was only disappointed that chips and salsa wasn't free like most Mexican restaurants but it was only $3 and it feeds 3-4 easy for an appetizer and comes with 3 sauces as well. I ordered some chicken tacos and they were amazingly good. Prices were also... More
