Perfect restaurant for a delicious dinner and near the theater. They handled our large group efficiently and with great care.

I would say that this restaurant is one of the best deals in all of Boston. You get a big bang out of your buck! The alcohol list is modest without any great choices so go here for the food and not the drinks!

We were staying next door at the Revere Hotel Boston Commons and went to the Rustic Kitchen for breakfast. The food was delicious and I found the pricing to be reasonable. It was just a charming place with the brick oven. Annmarie was a delight with her suggestions. The young man who was hosting that morning I don't remember his... More

This place is a great find, the only draw back is that it can close early, we tried to visit it twice for a drink and it was closing at 9.30, apart from that it is well worth the visit

...and eat the Miso Salmon. My companion and I met here for dinner before the theater. Our server was delightful… Willing to be playful a bit, and quick to serve us and manage our meal. Her recommendations for dinner were spot-on. The Miso Salmon was almost beyond describing. Multiple textures and layers of flavor including a beautiful piece of fish... More

17 reviews 3.0 star rating 1/29/16 This is a mixed review with the chicken veggie soup being very tasty while at the other end of the spectrum resided the undercooked cheese pizza. Even after sending it back for a second try the thin crust was still gummy. The manager offered to deduct the pizza which was professional and appropriate. I... More

Good experience, came here for a company dinner with fellow colleagues. Food done right, service from wait staff quite good, nice wine pairings to go with appetizers and entrees, and decent dessert selection.

Took 45 minutes to get our drinks and take our order. After two hours the toddlers had had enough and still had not been fed. Of the five course meal that I ordered, two items were good, two were very mediocre and one was terrible. How can you mess up Caesar salad?

In my opinion...this review is disingenuous. This reviewer was a member of a private function that had multiple guests with various severe food allergies. They were seated in a private dining room. Additional time was required to accommodate all of their specific needs, which was explained to the host beforehand. The party arrived early for their reservation, ordered specialty crafted... More

We had a great experience New Years Eve. It was also our anniversary and they gave us a very nice table. The food was very good and the wait staff were excellent. The prices were a little high, but not crazy.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
