Consistent high standard

I generally seek out Ruth's Chris when in the US ... you know what you are going to get and you know it will be good ... the Boston restaurant is particularly pleasant because of its location and the building the restaurant is housed in.

Great steak, awesome service and it is in an amazing building. I have been here too many times to count and have never been disappointed.

We have been going to Ruths Chris for the past 4 years and never ever had a bad meal. Serge is the waiter whom we always have and he's the best. I always get the petite filet with a salad and the sweet potato casserole (to die for). My husband gets the larger filet and the shoestring fries. Our friends... More

We had never been here before so we thought we would try it. The plates come out hot, the steaks were cooked perfect. Wish the steaks had a little bit more flavor though. My lobster tail was also very tough and chewy :( Dessert was amazing though, berries in cream..so yummy!

I was extremely tired from sightseeing and this was across the street from our hotel. The staff sat us promptly and offered suggestions. We split a small steak, a baked potatoe and asperagus. They cut the steak and potatoe for us evenly to serve us. The waitress offered to take pictures for us. We had our choice of ratting inside... More

Drove downtown with several co-workers. We were all in the mood for Ruth's Chris. They have valet parking for about $15. The restaurant is in the Old City hall, across from the Parker House. They had several bone-in specials that night, including bone-in filet and bone-in NY Strip. I had my eyes on the cowboy ribeye though, as I had... More

We made the mistake of going into a restaurant where there was no menu outside. The cheapest main course was around $39 for an extra small filet steak (no indication of the actual weight) - all side orders were extra - at least $9 for a tomato or a couple of mushrooms for instance. It was difficult to see the... More

We hadn't been to Ruth Chris in Boston in a few years. The last time we were there we had a great meal, however, after securing a reservation weeks in advance they still kept up waiting for over a half hour. This time we had a 7:30 reservation. We arrived at 7:15 and expected to wait since we were early.... More

We've been there on our very first night in Boston following the suggestion of a nice lady we met on the plane. Excellent atmosphere and friendly people but... the price list on the menu was absolutely crazy. We took a fillet and a backed potato each (two people), two glasses of wine, and we spent 120 $. The fillet was... More
