Dine out Boston

Amazing steak! Worth the money. Great atmosphere and attentive staff. It was a perfect date night and they were very flexible with my food intolerances (gluten).

I have never had a full meal at Ruth's Chris, but my wife and I often visit the bar which is very attractive and comfortable. The drinks and wine are excellent and there is a very good bar menu. The service is always first class. This is one of my favorite bars in Boston.

Fantastic anniversary meal with great steaks in a relaxed setting. I booked it as part of our extended holiday and mentioned our 30th wedding anniversary. Arrived at the table to find it adorned with rose petals and the whole meal was finished with a shared complimentary chocolate fondant dessert. Both very nice touches and really appreciated.

Happy hour is between 5 and 7 pm and you can get selection on the main menu at half price! I had the spicy lobster on a bed of lettuce, delicious! My friend had a filet steak sandwich...we were both pleased with the choices and the price, $8. Its location in the Old Statehouse and just across the street from... More

A very well-rounded steakhouse. Up there with famous 'steakhouse' steakhouses like Sparks or Peter Luger's in terms of quality of the steak. When combined with a candle-lit dining room in historic Old City Hall, makes for a great experience every time.

Loved the location in the old Boston Town Hall, it's a beautiful old building and the restaurant occupies much of the ground floor, it really is lovely. Unfortunately the food didn't match the decor. Not that there was anything particularly wrong with it, but it just wasn't anything special. Actually there was something wrong with the shoestring fries, they were... More

Went for an early meal in order to see a show. Attentive waiter, wonderful filet and sirloin. Ordered the chef special menu which included side and dessert. Only problem was we were in the Kevin White room and were seated near the door every time it opened there was a cold air draft in my husband. Other than that it... More

So we're Ruth's Chris "regulars" in SoCal and have been to a few others but have never been to the Boston location. As expected, the food was excellent but the service was very slow compared to what we're used to. Took almost 5 minutes to get water and then the waiter never asked if we wanted anything else to drink.... More
