Celebration Evening ~ 52 years of marriage!.

Absolutely wonderful dinner with impeccable service. Pricey evening for two people but I'll say every morsel was worth every dollar. I hope to go back again but not a place to go for a casual dinner, Let it be a memorable evening!

This was my first visit to a Ruth Chris and I have to say that this was by far the best steak restaurant I have ever been to. I had the petit filet and my husband had the ribeye and both were cooked perfectly. We had sides of brussel sprouts (delicious) and potato gratin (very good). Service was very good... More

Although my husband and I usually like to explore unique local restaurants when we travel, we chose the Boston Ruth Chris Steak House for dinner on our recent trip. Tucked into the Old City Hall building on historic School Street the setting was beautiful. We noticed the courtyard of the restaurant earlier in the day and when deciding on dinner... More

Great restaurant to go to if your looking for some special dining during your stay in Boston. Lovely atmosphere, excellent steak and good service. Only criticism, some of the sides are a bit random and I personally don't think they go very well with what's being served (i.e. should be tenderstem broccoli instead of regular broccoli). Apart from that, great... More

I went with a friend at lunch for Dine Out Boston (formerly Restaurant Week) and ordered the filet to my liking - a shade past E. coli. LOL When it arrived on a sizzling hot plate (complete with warning not to touch it), it was absolute perfection. Each bite melted in my mouth and I tried hard to not act... More

The steaks & ambiance are always great here, but the overall experience needs some real improvement. Tonight's service was spotty, inattentive & mostly absent, at best - very disappointing for a landmark restaurant that serves top-notch fare at $$$$ prices.

Great food and top notch service. A lot of Boston history as the building is part of the Freedom Tour.

Excellent Filet! Visited the restaurants during Dine Out Boston last week. The filet mignon was cooked as ordered with abundant flavor. Love the chicken tortilla soup. The salad was too sour to my taste. The cream spinach and the mashed potatoes were ok. The $15 Oscar style was some soft crab meat with 3 tiny asparagus and maybe spoonful of... More

The location is great especially seating outside with the fairy lights and cool breeze on a hot night! We had rib eye & fillets and were all very impressed by the quality of the meat. The side dishes were plentiful & vegetables fresh. We loved it so much we went back a few nights later. Will definitely return when next... More

I was not sure if I was even going to write a review but after sleeping on my experience at this restaurant last night I just got more upset. My husband and I had taken our son and daughter here for dinner last night to celebrate their going way to college. We were greeted wonderfully at the front desk and... More
