The tappas was excellent and so was the piata. One of the best meals we had in Boston. You have to get there at 5:30 when they open because by 6:15 they were filled. They do not take reservations, they do valet parking and the food was the best. From the flank steak, to the uncooked scollops you cannot go... More

Both for vegetarians as well as the carnivores. The flavors are tremendous. The service is ok but with food like what they serve they can afford to be snooty. The only down side is no reservations but does not stop us from going over. The peppers, corn and cheeses are my absolutely favorite.

I had heard so many good things about the food and so many bad things about the wait. I got the best of both by getting there for a lunch. Our party of three ordered 12 different dishes so that we could try many things. The roasted corn seems to be the hit, but it was just good. All the... More

Coming from a city where reservations are less and less possible, we weren't freaked out by the "add your name to the list" situation. And it was def worth the 40 or so min wait, where we parked ourselves on a bench and took in the street scene, including watching folks argue with the hostess. :) The food is excellent,... More

I know the line is long but it is so worth the wait! Toro doesn't take reservations so we got there at 5:30pm on Saturday to get our name on the list and the wait was already an hour and half. But they took our number and we went to an area bar for a drink. We got a great... More

Get here early because it is so good you will wait a long time for a table! The food and wine here are inventive and delicious! Tapas style with an extensive wine list Toro can't be beat!

Tried to eat here on a Sat in mid June, forget it, I for one am not waiting 90 mins for a table (not even at the bar) and you cannot book. Came back on the Sunday (we were staying at a B&B right around the corner). Only a 20 min wait at the bar so no problem with that.... More

There's a lot to love about Toro. Then again, to get that love, you gotta be willing to put up with some 'stuff' kinda like having a really, really popular friend who you cut a lot of slack for because, well, they're popular, right? This sets you up for some very high expectations indeed. Does Toro always deliver? Is is... More

I love the place and would have given an excellent if one could reserve by phone.Toro is a really good Tapas place in the South End. They don't take reservations, be prepared to wait around 30-45 minutes until seated. You can taka a sparkling wine while waiting (and standing) at the bar. I highly recommend their Paella and you should... More

Toro is a foodie must visit! What a great restaurant with amazing staff and bartenders! We had the paella and it was delicious. The restaurant is very busy and has a great vibe. However, the wait can be very long (but worth it) and it is very loud inside. We try and go there early for dinner to avoid the... More
