Excellent combinations with tons of creativity. Loved the bread with tomato, the sea urchin with caviar, the tuna belly, the octopus with olives and much more. The portions are not big, so I thought we would never finish, but we almost cleaned up the plates. That means the bill is a little higher than you think initially, unless you eat... More

Since we were heading to an event, we arrived at 5:20PM on a Friday and had a drink at the bar while waiting for table service to begin at 5:30. The drink selection is decent but there is no beer on draft. The bartenders and servers were very helpful and personable. We ordered 6 plates for the two of us,... More

The menu was incredible and much of it was gluten free. They were very sensitive to even bread being on the same surface. The menu ranges from uni to bone marrow, paella to yellow fin tuna. Every bite was exquisite. If you are just looking for a quick meal, skip this place. If you are looking for an evening of... More

Went to Toro on New Year's Eve. Food was fantastic - lots of good choices of tapas, many of which were healthy without losing any taste. Often we find tapas places don't have good entrees, but Toro was different. Had one of the best fish dishes we've ever had - the sea bass tasted buttery smooth. Drinks were also creative... More

This restaurant is the ideal atmosphere that my fiancé and I love!! We went on a Saturday, it was packed but we found an area to enjoy a cocktail near the bar while we waited to be seated. The cocktails were fab, and the tapas was extremely flavourful. Highly recommend the corn, and the sliders. We almost went back for... More

We have spent plenty of time in Barcelona tapas bars and so were excited to try Toro, modeled after a Barcelona tapas bar. We were not disappointed, the place was jumping, crowded and noisy and the tapas came quickly and were delicious. We went on a Saturday night and the place was full. It is a long, narrow room with... We had a wonderful lunch on a Tuesday here. The restaurant was not too busy - no reservations were needed. Every dish we had was wonderful, as was the wine. In particular we would recommend the cold eggplant dish, the red curry mussels, bone marrow, beets salad and pain con tomate. We will definitely return next time we are in... More

I love this place. Always have a great meal. The drinks are different and the food is delicious. I would go back for the tripe and that is something I thought I would never say! Service is always on point and I can't wait to return.

There's plenty of hype about this South End tapas bar. There's certainly a cosy, inviting vibe with an impressive wine list and selection of beers. Ultimately it's the tapas you're here for though and sadly it's reliable but pedestrian. It is one thing to let ingredients express themselves naturally, and tapas, especially pinchos, are meant to be uncomplicated drinking food... More

Went for lunch to avoid the crowds. Tried several of their pinchos and two of their sandwiches. The food was delicious and very flavorful. The only complaint I have about the food was that the chicken on my "Milanese bocadillo" tasted very a bit strange and had a tough texture. Nice atmosphere and overall great food.
