Great Tapas but don't eat inside if noise bothers you

3 colleagues and I had dinner here last week. Fortunately the only seating was outside which was very fortunate because the noise level inside was too much. We had the following: Serrano ham(very good), roasted dates (wow). Bacaloao croquettes (best ever), foie gras (a real deal and terrific... read more

Visited Toro for Sunday brunch after dining at sister restaurant Coppa previously. Arrived right at 10:30 a.m. open and had no problem getting seated. Enjoyed breakfast fare and their house specialty corn, and it was a wholesome, filling, flavorful meal. The Michelada drink is no joke and a great accompaniment to the meal.

I have obviously been way too busy dining at and telling people about Toro that it has taken me years to write this review! Toro without a doubt ranks as one of our favorite Spanish tapas restaurants in the world... Yup, I really mean the world. My husband and I have been all over Spain and even while dining at... More

My husband and I are from Florida up visiting adult children. They raved about Toro! We arrived on Friday night at 545 and had an hour and a half wait. We did find seating at the bar and had cocktails. I loved the Donna Martin! Everyone in our party enjoyed the specialty drinks and we had 2 small plates while... More

While on holiday in Boston, my boyfriend and I went to have dinner at Toro, since it came recommended in the Zagat guide. This restaurant has a no reservation policy, so we took the chance and walked the 20min from our hotel located in Back Bay area. Luckily for us we were able to get a seat right away in... More

I'm not saying what hundreds have already, but the dispiriting thing about eating at Toro is that you realize how uninspired most cooking is after eating there. Luscious food, great waitstaff, great vibe, and so what if you have to wait an hour at 5:30 on a Saturday? Stroll up to Tremont Street and grab a drink. Your patience will... More

Waitstaff informed, pleasant and it is clear the managment has an understanding on how staff should seamlessly help each other out. Food was freak'n awesome, and I am a tough critic when it comes to eating out in Boston. For the quality of food, the prices were reasonable. Get there early or you will be in line and with food... Toro is a Barcelona-style tapas restaurant located in Boston’s South End. Finding public parking can be difficult (as in any city), but they do offer valet parking. We found meter parking near by, but we did have to drive around for about 20 minutes. My family and I arrived at the restaurant about 40 minutes before they begin serving dinner... More

Had Sunday brunch here at the recommendation of a friend who once worked for the company. Started with a pitcher of Bloody Mary's that could've done without so much horseradish...but were still very good. My fiancé and I split two small plates, potatoes and empanadas that contained a perfectly spiced curry beef and sat atop a very refreshing cucumber/yogurt/cilantro sauce... More

Busy, busy, busy! But for good reason. Toro is a Spanish tapas restaurant that has the delicious aroma of authenticity to it. A better time to try it might be during the week, as it really is packed on the weekend. In the mood for something completely different (a nod to Monty Python fans out there), try the Asado de...
