The food is fantastic, service is top notch and the room has a monumental feel. It is perfect for a special night. However, you should realize that it is expensive ... very expensive. Appetizers run $16 to $26 and main courses are $32 to $47. Then there is the wine. They have a very impressive selection but only a handful... More

I've gone here twice and eagerly anticipate my next visit. Shoreline is a delightful blend of style and substance, a rarity in Boston where quite often never the twain shall meet. Both of my visits were with stylish out of towners with sort of fussy tastes, and I could not have made a better decision in bringing them here. The... More

A group of 14 of us recently attended a business dinner there and were just blown away. The service was very attentive without being overly pretentious and the food was excellent. Everything was very freshly prepared and served HOT which was impressive considering a group our size. Pricey, but it is one of the nicest places in Boston.

I love great restaurants and dine out quite a bit. I always stay at my beloved Hotel Commonwealth when in Boston, and being a 'foodie', along with the fact that Sorellina (sister restaurant to Mistral) is so highly regarded among fine dining enthusiasts, I had to visit from New Hampshire about 5 years ago .......and I can assure you all... We celebrated our son's 11th birthday last week in this extraordinary restaurant. The place is beautiful and elegant. Our server, Mark, was incredible. He couldn't be more professional and attentive. The food was delicious. We had the tortellini with kobe meatballs, the striped bass and the lobster gnocchi. Everything is amazing! We won't miss it on our next visit to... More

Excellent food; polite and efficient service; a little pricey, but worth it for special occasions or occasional treat.

I was very impressed to find simple food elevated to the next level of gourmet Italian!! There were a lot of beautiful chooses and they promise and deliver. The restaurant atmosphere was nice but a little dark for my taste (maybe i was a little too tired of the 6 hour flight!). Everything was really good (ravioli, carbonara, lamb, carpaccio)... More

My boy friend's first time here and he loved it. The food presentation was amazing. My lobster gnochi were to die for! they bake a loaf of bread for each table that is way to dangerous!! the menu is wide ranged and plenty to suit everyone. Great drinks and terrific service. We will return!

From the moment you walk into Sorellina, it will be an experience. Our service was perfect, and the food...well, nothing sort of superb. Primi: tuna and oysters. I understand they are known for their oysters and my hosts (who are regulars here) not only recommended it, but had it themselves. I had the sea scallops, and while I hate changing... More
