One of Boston's really great restaurants. We have been to numerous expensive places in town and I have found Sorellina to be the best of the bunch. Service is perfect, the restaurant itself beautiful, the tables well spaced, wine list extensive (and expensive), the food perfectly prepared. This is our third trip and each experience is better than the last.... More

Food is terrific. Design is great. Staff is great. Our granddaughter is a Senior at BU and this has been part of our tradition twice or three times/year and it's always a treat. Between us all, we've eaten through the menu and everything is wonderful. Close your eyes and pick.....or just have them bring you dinner. You can't go wrong.... More

Dropped by last minute last night. Nice looking place, very nice decor. Very nice reception by the hostesses. Waiter was very friendly and knowledgable. Those were the good points... Went for the pasta with truffles. Once you get past the ridiculous price, you hope you end up with a memorable dish. Nope... Truffles were bland, sauce was bland, pasta was... More

Went for an early dinner around 5:30 on a Sunday night. We were one of the first customers in the place and they tried to seat us at one of those small tables for two that run along a bench and are anything but private when someone is sitting next to you. Since the restaurant was empty we asked for... More

After going to the play we (6) went to Sorellina for dinner. I made the only wrong choice of the night. Each of the other diners had a great meal and were very happy. The grilled squid was a favorite as was the short rib ravioli. The wait staff was excellent the service was spot on - But if you... More

Outstanding flavors, excellent presentation but left feeling cheated by the underwhelming portoins. Had the veal saltimbocca, tuna app, truffle fries-all excellent. Would consider north end next time for excellent taste and value

When we asked our waitress if there we're white truffles she replied that they would have none until the next day. A few minutes later she announced that the manager was going to another restaurant to get truffles for us. They were exceptional, grated over simple tagliatelle with butter and parmesan. The veal was also exceptional as was an appetizer... More

Walking in, on this night, the crowd was older, like us, however, most were dressed in Boston business attire and we were in full-on tourist attire, fear not, everyone is welcome. Immediately, my father came to mind, old world style, he would have been comfortable in. White cloth table linens, fine silver, polite waitstaff, dim lighting and lots of meat... More

You can always count on an enjoyable meal here... and at any of the groups restaurants for that matter. Commitment to high quality products and fine service is their calling card. Order whatever the pasta special is. The veal is also highly recommended. Wine pricing is too high.
