I'm so happy we found a seat at the bar at Sorellina -- it was our lucky day! My meal was -- day I use the word -- perfect. My salmon tartare with salmon roe appetizer, a special that day, was the type of dish where you savor each bite, looking for those little flavor surprises. The gnocchi with lobster... More

This was my last night with my group in Boston after the conference. The location is convenient. The atmosphere in the restaurant is classy one. Good recommendation from the waiter, including a King Salmon caviar with tartare, and a crispy fried white fish fillet. Worthwhile to spend a night there!

This was our friends 40th Wedding Anniversary and our 24th. We wanted someplace top notch and we got it. Place was packed on a Sunday night. Our only soft point is how tight the seating is and a little loud. But that is overcome by good service and amazing food. I think this is the top Italian Restaurant in Boston... More

I enjoyed Sorellina very much. At the corner of Copley square, everything about this place is classy. From the staff to the ambiance to the delectable food. I had the filet mignon which was superb, but the potatoes with it were divine. My wife raved about her Gnocchi. Truffle fries were a nice treat. For dessert the chocolate cake was... More

The atmosphere was classy and the service close to perfection. Most importantly, I would note the Garganelli pasta. This was quite possibly the best pasta dish I have ever eaten.

From our greeting through each phase of our meal, every person was friendly, very well trained and knowledgeable about the wine list and menu as well as very attentive and professional and the food was delicious. I loved that the portions were not super sized and that there were also 1/2 portions on certain entrees. An A+ in Boston. Can't... More

I've been to Sorellina's a number of times and had many excellent meals, so I will return there but not during Restaurant Week. Our recent "Restaurant Week" experience was disappointing, starting with a lack lustre steak topped with a blanched bland tomato. The starter salad was a simple tomato salad with a nice light dressing and burrata (like the burrata... More

This was a perfect place for a special dinner -- in our case, celebrating our anniversary. The ambience is really gorgeous. The food was great, and really beautifully presented. My wife and I shared a delicious raw salmon appetizer. She enjoyed an excellent filet mignon for her entree, while I had a very good halibut prepared in a lobster sauce,... More

We went for our anniversary celebration. We didn't regret a thing about it. We definitely got pampered with their service starting with the valet parking. The service was exceptional. We didn't get desserts but our server got us complimentary chocolate truffles and a ball of sorbet in a plate decorated "Happy Anniversary". Our appetizer was ok but our entrees were... More
