Great brunch

Nice brunch menu, from eggs to burgers. Tried the duck hash and eggs, very good. The portions, service and atmosphere was very enjoyable.

This has been my second time here and was just like the first time elegant and satisfying! The waiter was new but very friendly and got us our drinks right away. After we had ordered the appetizers they where out in minutes, made to the T. The entrees where out shortly after we finished with the appetizers. The focaccia bread... More

The food in this place is fantastic and the service is always consistent. The best dish is this place hands down has to be the bolognese Tagliatelle pasta. The sauce is superb. I recommend this place for anybody, whether you are going with a date, friends, or family.

This has been one of my daughters favorite restaurants for a long time. After dining here I fully agree with her. I wish we could have dined more leisurely but the restaurant could not have been more accomadative in getting us to the Pops on time. Everyone ordered a different pasta dish and they were all outstanding. I think this... More

I think that overall this is a solid restaurant. I ate it all, it was very good, I was happy. The arugula salad and linguine were both delicious, but the portions were much too large, and also priced correspondingly high- I would rather have portions 2/3 the size and order a couple extra somethings. The service could use an extra... More

Our B&B owner suggested this fabulous find in the South End. At the waiter's recommendation, I had the pizza with braised ribs, arugula, figs and Gorgonzola cheese. It sounds a little odd, but what a fabulous combination it turned out to be! It was absolutely delicious. My husband had the gnocchi, also fabulous. We loved this restaurant and would recommend... I frequent many South End restaurants, and I can't say this was a standout. Cute and cosy interior, decent portion sizes, but the gnocci left something to be desired. While it was definitely homemade and I loved the fresh basil, it seemed somewhat burnt on the bottom. A bit pricey for an average plate of Italian food and a drink... More

With the exception of the noisy dining area, this was a great meal. The service was professional and we lacked for nothing. Entrees were very good, meat choices were exceptional, the salmon a little less than perfect. Portions were excellent, bordering on large, even the big eaters in our group were satisfied. A nice surprise in such a trendy restaurant!... More

Excellent and attentive service. Good food, nice selection of wines. We went as a couple, but it would be a great place for groups to dine. Book early as Stella is very popular. Highly Recommended.

Staying in South End

Neighborhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
