What do you expect in this area of Boston?

Look, Nebo is competently staffed and reasonably-menued. At the same time, you won't be blown away. So, looking to impress? Keep moving. You like loud and hip - perfect. The food was ok all around. Not outstanding, not bad.

We enjoyed stopping here on a Friday night before a show and were happy to get a table as the bar area was busy. The service was good and we enjoyed the calamari fritti and Boston bibb salad for starters. We ordered three pizzas; the goat cheese, margheriata, and sausage. All three were tasty and well-prepared. The menu offers many... More

I ate here with a colleague when in Boston for business. The restaurant was crowded, but they were able to seat us without a reservation. The service was fine and the food was good. I had the Arctic Char which was very good as was the appetizers. The sides were just okay. All in all it was a good experience... More

We needed to have a bite to eat before we got a bus back to New York. Nebo is near South Station so we decided it would be good. We went in about 5pm and the bar was full of guys in nice suits. It seems it's near the financial district. There was a great buzz about the place. The... More

Sat at the bar and had a wonderful bibb salad that looked like a flour; delicious dulche bleu cheese. I also had a lemon shrimp appetizer over polenta; wonderful food, great service. A little noisy if your looking for something quiet. I liked the lively atmosphere.

My wife and I went to NEBO for the first time to visit with some friends we hadn't seen in a couple years. WE made a reservation through Open Table primarily because of their location and their Gluten Free menu. We spent three hours there. The staff was excellent, attentive, the food was delicious, I don't think we could have... More

Walked about 9pm on a Friday evening and got a table immediately. Nice Italian menu, very pleasant service. Food was delicious, and well presented. The restaurant is a lot of tables and not much in between, but the bar is even nicer. Staff look smart in their 'uniforms' of white shirts, Levis and Adidas Samba's so four points for style.... We ate here with my fiancee's parents and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere - the service was good although we were sitting in an area between two servers areas of responsibility which caused a little bit of confusion. One of our diners had the veal which they thought was excellent - we would have loved to try some however... More

An overdue review, as I hosted a lunch here earlier this winter and look forward to return visit. This place is hopping during lunchtime, so be sure to reserve a table if you go with a group. Service was pleasant and efficient, which suits lunchtime diners. The menu is obviously Italian but with options (salads, etc.) to satisfy those seeking... More
