A party of 17 and we were seated for over 1 hour before bread even arrived? We did make reservations. We were assigned one wait staff and she had other tables. 2.5 hours after ordering, appetizers started to show but it had taken another 1/2 an hour before everybody had gotten there appetizers. Our group arrived complete at 6:50pm and... more

We had a great reception on Monday night, the location was awesome the food was unforgetable, and the place it self was just cool. Open style kitchen and great dishes, personable staff, from the coat check to the final check. This is a place where you will need your american express. So go big in the city of Boston and... more

We booked a reservation for two on Valentine's day and I expected more for the price. The tables were extremely close together. We were there early and were seated next to the only other couple in a big line of empty tables. The couple was obviously trying to have a romantic time and looked offended when we sat down. I... more

Want to experience the WORST of Boston on New Year's Eve? Try the Umbria New Year's Eve party for $100. Free food and drinks all night sound great? When we bought our tickets for the evening, they didn't tell us about the pushy, almost insulting bouncers, the drunk and puking "20" year olds, and the disgusting feeding frenzy on free... more

I recently made a reservation for 10 ladies two weeks in advance. The evening was a celebration of a co-worker having married. By the way, we are all 55+. We were greeted by waiter telling us we had better order quickly because they were busy. After spending over $650, and approx. 2 hours at our table, as soon as we... more

Really not that good. I did go during restaurant week, but they offered crappy options, the service wasn't good and the dishes were disappointing. more

Nice restaraunt - good service but dissapointing food. Salad was nicely dressed, but the entree was a let down. Nicely cooked bass but the 'bed' of chicory was really just 3 limp leaves - the 'bean and garlic puree' was just tasteless humus. Expensive. more

This restaurant was recommended by the Concierge at the Boston Harbour. It is tucked away on a quieter street which is within 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The restaurant is upmarket Italian food. Service was very prompt and a very warm welcome from the Maitre D was received. Food is reasonably priced – first courses are between $9-$20 with... more
