Eastern Standard has a really great menu with a nice variety of modern choices. Their drink menu is the real draw for me, though. The cocktail selection is huge and comes in various categories, including cocktails with egg. The bartenders provide great recommendations if you tell them what you like, don't like, etc. Everything is delicious! A definite foodie stop.

This restaurant near Fenway Park offers indoor or outdoor seating. The interior is reminiscent of old-style steakhouses, with dark wood and cool interiors. The menu is varied, with steaks, fish and veal chops. Everything was excellent. Branzino was super. Service was odd...all staff served all tables, so the server of the moment was unfamiliar with us. In other words, no... More

For quiet a few years Eastern Standard has been attracting Sox fans on their way to a game, and those looking for a lively night out with great food. Consider this Fenway restaurant as the place to be. Anyone seeking an innovative drink, or a traditional cocktail will be well served here. It has rightfully deserved reputation for its creative... I went to Eastern Standard on July 15 (a week ago) and the ambiance was, as always, very enjoyable. Among other things, I order Steak Tartare and it tasted fine but thereafter I was sick for three days. It was quiet serious. I lost about 4 pounds. Not a bad way to loose weight. Maybe they invented a new diet.... More

We ate here one night while staying at the Hotel Commonwealth. The food and the service was impeccable. We opted to eat indoors due to the heat, but the outdoor dining area looks like the place to be. Will definitely eat here again.

4 hungry boys enjoyed their breakfasts sitting outside watching a torrential rain storm! Wish we stayed longer in town to try for lunch or dinner

We were staying at Hotel Commonwealth, and wanted to eat close by. We reserved at Eastern Standard, sight unseen. Very lovely surprise. The restaurant is gorgeous, very elegant inside with wood, romantic lighting and large tables that are spaced decently from eachother. The food was great, from the steak frites (myself and husband) to fried clams ( my son), with... More

My husband and I were visiting Boston, had tickets for the Red Sox on 7/4, decided to try Eastern Standard for breakfast. We ate on the patio, arriving just before the crowd - this place fills up quick! We both ordered french toast and it was delicious - portion was perfect, coffee was hot. Unfortunately or not as the case... More

I was with friends and we were headed to a Sox game. We were about 90 minutes early so stopped by Eastern Standard for a drink and some appetizers before the game. It was fairly crowded in the restaurant and on the patio so we went to the bar. I was surprised to see a family with three young (two... More
