The whole experience at Eastern Standard is fantastic! The staff there are excellent and the food is amazing. Our drinks waiter was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the large variety of beers and ciders that they have on offer. The menu at Eastern Standard is out of this world, try the seafood platter but also try the roasted bone... More

Eastern Standard is at Kenmore Square and very popular with Red Sox fans before and after a game at Fenway. Huge restaurant with great food and casual atmosphere.I had the Standard Burger after the game and the very decadent French Toast for breakfast. Service was awesome.

A friend of mine took me to Eastern Standard because it is his favorite restaurant in Boston. I can certainly see why! It's fabulous! I absolutely loved it and enjoyed every minute! We sat at the bar and had some white wine, the shellfish tower, and the flat iron steak. The restaurant is very big, can accomodate a large number... More

we visited this restaurant twice on our visit to Boston. The first time we sat in the patio area which was rather hot with the overhead heaters. The second time we were in the restaurant which had a wonderful buzz and great decor. On both occasions the food and service were excellent.

The bar here is really good. Great choice of drinks including a huge selection of beers and it looks really impressive with a great atmosphere. The food was OK but not amazing. My wife had the half a roast chicken which was nothing special. My meatballs were good though. So if you would like a bar with a great atmosphere... More

We dropped in for a quick lunch to get out of the rain. We were made to feel extremely special and ended up staying longer than planned lingering over coffee and dessert and being chatted up by the staff. This is a busy restaurant, but never feels that way. Super food, too!

Had the burger which was great, but the real joy was the oyster and prawns starter - excellent. Great cocktail too. Service was perfectly judged and would recommend heartily.

Large restaurant in Kenmore Square Boston very suitable for casual business or friends and family. Food is very good as is the wine selection. I'd remember that wine and food are supposed to accompany each other and the pours should be sufficient to last a dish. If margins are tight, charge more so that a glass of wine lasts the... More

We (2 adults and a teenager) ate here twice during a recent 5 day visit (we stayed in a B&B nearby). It is an upscale bar with excellent food and service. Appetizers, drinks, entrees and deserts are all good.

This was fantastic service and Food. We loved it. The perfect combo is stopping into the Hawthorne first for a drink and having dinner here. The service is excellent at both locations right next door to one another. We loved sitting outside in the covered patio with heaters on a drizzly night. So glad we found this place and enjoyed...
