Nice bistro with a classic French menu but the Kenmore location is now closed. The Boston South End and the Needham locations are still open.

Visited the restaurant on Valentine's Day with another couple. It was a fixed menu for a four course dinner. We entered the restaurant and immediately was seated. Everything was great until we were shorted our first course. I did not say anything immediately do to the fact it was a fixed menu, every customer would and should be receiving the... More

I was taken by a faculty group for a lunch before a lecture. Pleasant, efficient, low-key service. Nice variety of items on the menu. I had moules et frites, very nicely done. Good set of wine choices by glass or bottle at decent prices. Very quiet, so conversation was audible. Al the other lunches looked delicious. Good place to eat.

perfect for a late lunch. Avoided the busier time but were welcomed by the staff. Excellent soup and salad selection. Entrees were quite generous for lunch. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Very nice wine list by the glass

Dined here before a Boston Pops show. Shared the duck confit soup as a starter, which was excellent. Husband had the coq au vin, which he enjoyed. I had the spinach crepe, which was not very good at all. The crepe was dry, and the creamed spinach underneath was extremely bland. Next time I'd get something else. Dessert was the... More

A quiet unassuming bistro that turns out fabulous, delicious food and has excellent servers. Well worth the visit. You will be amazed at how delicious the food is considering the price is not very high by Boston standards. We had two meals there, lunch where we ordered more breakfast/brunch fare (omelettes and eggs) and dinner. Both meals were consistently excellent.

For me, a Coquille St. Jacques is a good test for a restaurant that claims to be preparing traditional French cuisine. Theirs was sub-standard. It was more of a second-class risotto without a shell. The cream of broccoli, however, was very good.

Went with a group of 5 colleagues. We had soup appetizers and entrees. My spinach crepe was the best ever - really delicious, and the carrot soup was also good, though a little heavy since it had a lot of cream in it. Wines were reasonably priced. Service was great - friendly and attentive. The noise level was great -... More

Everything about this restaurant is top shelf. The ambience is upscale French bistro. Very lovely. The service excellent. Several staff, most of which are from France, gjve very attentive personal service. You think you are in Paris. The food from the delicious warm bread to desert is outstanding. The prices are very reasonable, entrees from the high teens to mid... More

We spent more than four hours for lunch today at Petit Robert Bistro Kenmore and truly felt so relaxed, like we were really on vacation! Our French server, Dénes, was so attentive, helpful and hospitable, he contributed immensely to our great experience. He mixed amazing drinks for us and we also liked his wine recommendation. We started with the Trio... More
