Great place to feast on Indian food

We love to go to Tantric either before or after a show - it's right in the theater district. The food is so delicious and the prices are good. There are lots of great things to choose from, including a decent wine and cocktail menu.

There are very few restaurants in downtown Boston where you can get Vegan dishes. Tantric offers the usual fare with a bit more than many Indian restaurants. The bread was flavorful, the samosas were fresh and the entrees well prepared. Good selection of drinks and there is adequate space between tables. Service was very good as well. It is a... More

Great service, reasonable prices, good selection of foods from various regions of India. I loved the saag paneer and raita. Ras malai was also very good.

Used Open Seat to set reservation for after our show. Nice and easy. Great variety of Indian favorites, wines, cocktail, and drinks. Mango Lasse definite ranks high. Seafood madras was wonderful, and allowed for us to choose heat. Also went for the chicken Tikka Masada and of course naan. Great service, and food arrived quickly even with almost a full... More

Had high expectations of this recommended Indian eatery given the dearth of good Indian restaurants back in Pittsburgh but overall was pretty disappointed. The mixed platter appetizer was fairly nondescript and lacked any real flavor. Our entrees were on the other hand pretty decent, a good chicken jalfrezi and an excellent lamb dish. Biggest disappointment however was reserved for the... More

Really enjoyed the food, one of the best/most authentic Indian restaurants in Boston. Would definitely go again.

It is a really great Indian bistro. The samosas was disappointing though (I usually love). Chicken tikka masala was delicious! And the lamb as well. The garlic indian bread was a nice starter. The traditional ice cream is extremely sweet, not everyone can handle, And the hot chocolate cake was good, American. Nice variety of cocktails.

We needed a place for a quick meal before a show at The Wilbur. We had noticed this place on other trips to the area and decided to give it a try and were very glad we did! We ordered the Lauki Kofta and the Goan Shrimp Curry and both were very good. We also tried the naan which was... More
