Since moving to the US from London, my husband and I have missed the delights of a really good curry, having been spoiled by the excellent Cafe Spice Namaste in Prescott Street. So we determined to seize the opportunity of an overnight stop in Boston and were delighted with both the food and the ambience of Tantric Indian Bistro. We... More

We love Indian cuisine and usually try new restaurants wherever we travel. We have dined in Hyderabad and New Deli. This place has them all beat!

I went into this restaurant because I needed really spicy food and I thought I could get there. And I did. The service was excellent and very personal. I realised they did have to serve a crowd while I was there but the wait was not unreasonable. The food was nice and I believe I got value for money. I... More

I ate here because it was across the street from the hotel and I really love good Indian food. fortunatelyit was close because otherwise it was not worth the walk. Usually Indian food is very fresh and elegantly spiced--this just seemed like they opened a can and were going through the motions. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't good--although... More

I work nearby and this is a great spot for a quick and filling lunch. The price is reasonable and you can be in and out in 30 minutes. The nan is excellent as are the accompanying sauces. The tikka masala is good as well. There are also vegetarian options always available.

The location is good and the ambience matches the location, but it ends there. Food quality is below average and it tastes lame. Our server didn't know if one of the popular indian dish (not on the menu) was offered, which is ok, but he didn't even make an effort to check with the chef. Starters and appetizers were good.... The food is good but not exceptional... Service is good... Nans were the best... Chicken tikka masala was standard... Chettinad chicken was also good. I would just order nans and eat them without anything...

Great find in the theater district of Boston! We were seated promptly without reservations and there were only a few patrons when we arrived around 5PM on a Saturday night, but the restaurant began filling up gradually while we were there. The service was excellent, and we received our meals quickly. Our meals were delicious!! Highly recommend!

My husband and I ate at Tantric prior to a show and had a terrific meal (our meal was a lot better than the show we saw!). They reserved us a sizeable and comfortable booth (always pays to reserve ahead). Our apps (sams) and the garlic naan were great as were our main meals. The waiter asked what spice level... More
