My family ate here last Saturday and had a great evening. Excellent bread was provided as soon as we sat down and the wine list was interesting and reasonable. The staff were very friendly and politely answered our questions about the food. Lobster bisque was great as were the duck, lamb and salmon entrees. We finished with chocolate souffles and... More

We were staying at the Liberty Hotel so this small French Bistro was very close by we went the evening before leaving Boston the Menu was quite pricey but as it was our last evening so a treat was in order we ordered Steaks which were delicious French bread very tasty butter was a tiny square for the prices charged... The food was really nice. This is classic French right down to the small portions and uninterested wait staff. First of all the bread is great but you are given a very small piece of butter and your table mate may have a large piece. This seems odd. We were told we could not just order a first course and... Authentic feel of a Parisian French bistro. Calm and quite, somewhat small (but not cramped), intimate space with excellent cuisine and attentive service. French style dishes include an appetizer of foie gras (always a clue of good things to come).

We were tired from an all day walking tour of Beacon Hill and stumbled on this quaint little bistro. Friendly attentive staff and excellent food. The trout almandine was authentic French style and as good as it gets on this side of the Atlantic. The desserts are top notch and the deep dark chocolate mousse was a perfect ending to... More

We have lunch here a couple of times a year and it is always very pleasant. Food is typically Parisien and quite traditional. It is very handy to Mass General Hospital. Prices are quite reasonable. Service was a tad slow today but not so slow as to be annoying. Everyone enjoyed their meals and thought everything was well prepared and... More

We saw reviews of this bistro prior to visiting Boston and reserved a table on a Friday evening in late March 2014. From the curtain covering the door to many of the menu selections, and the French wines, many not normally seen in the US, we were transported to a typical very good bistro in Paris or one of the... We echo much of what's written here. The menu and presentation are traditional, the execution good but not outstanding. Beef ordered medium rare served closer to well, goat cheese salad with cheese that was lukewarm. The 17 oz wine carafe is also a bit odd but the wine is decent so it's a bit of a value shopper approach. As... More

We stumbled across this little gem located on Cambridge St near the bridge. A bitter cold night spend in a warm country French restaurant was priceless. The staff was warm and friendly but did not hang all over us. The menu is a single page with a few nightly specials. I had chicken thighs cooked in a wine reduction sauce... More
