FRESHEST SEAFOOD IN BOSTON!

Five stars for food quality, atmosphere (feels more like a brasserie), the friendly and cool staff and overall experience!!! Worth the 1 1/2 -2 hour wait. This place is so accommodating they call you on your cell phone so long as you stay nearby. Best lobster in the Northeast.

Great food and service. We really enjoyed the experience but it would be a special occasion place for us. We had a one hour wait which we used to explore the surrounding area. Lots to do and see around Salem street and surrounding area. Neptune is a must do for those visiting Boston.

My mom and I stumbled upon this accidentally, when we were visiting Boston to look at schools. It was summer so everything was open and we didn't mind waiting to be seated. We sat next to a wonderful couple that we ended up conversing with. It was a really great atmosphere and the food, is truly, absolutely amazing. Seafood to... More

As a tourist, I don't like to arrange my day based on a restaurant. We tried 3 times to eat at Neptune Oyster and were unsuccessful on each occasion. I understand the restaurant is very small, location works well for the management and they don't want to take reservations. However, it cannot accommodate the clientele they obviously have. Our first... More

Even though we arrived when Neptune opened at 11:30 our wait was 1.5 hours. I love that the hostess takes your name and number and calls you when a table is ready. There isnt room to wait inside the restaurant anyway, but its nice not to have to think too much about the time frame either. Tip: get there extra... More

My husband and I stopped here for a late lunch along the Freedom Trail. We split a warm lobster roll that was overflowing with chunks of lobster meat!

We were lucky to find this spot and even luckier to walk in and sit down immediately as it was packed! ! Many different fresh shell oysters to choose from. We had 4 different varieties. All fresh and delivered to the table quickly. We also loved the Hamachi ceviche. Super fresh. Bright flavors from the tomatillo and cilantro. The kimchi... More

This restaurant is awesome!! Our wait staff was so great and the food was amazing. I had the crab bisque and the lobster roll - it was top notch. Hands down, the best lobster roll I have ever eaten. The ambiance of the restaurant is so fun. I wish I lived closer…I would be eating there all the time!!

Someone recommended this restaurant and the burger with fried oysters. Go at least and hour or two before you want to eat and get your name on the waiting list. I went on a Saturday night and I was able to sneak in within 45 minutes because I was on my own. The waitress was great and recommended two different... More

Have to wait an 1-2 hours but so worth the wait. Maybe if you get there before they open it is better time wise...not sure!
