Yes it is great, yes the oysters are really fresh, yes it is a "hole in the wall" tiny. But enough already with the wait. We've been there four times and each time was told the wait would be at least two hours, no matter when we got there or the day of the week. Twice we hung in and... More

Neptune has beyond exceptional seafood. If you love crab try the blue crab cocktail yummy. The shrimp are incredible and are the largest shrimp I've ever seen ... Like petite lobster tails. My fave is the hot buttered lobster roll, each piece is tossed in butter but not dripping in butter. My husband had the sea bream which was the... More

Great little restaurant in the North End, known for their lobster rolls. The rolls are a little pricey, but they're worth it. Try going during off-peak times so as not to wait for a table as this is a fairly small restaurant: about 10-15 tables with a few seats at the bar.

This place was fantastic. The restaurant is a bit small but even so they call you for when you can get in. Took 3 hours but that was fine, allowed us to tour Quincy Market and when we got in got a Lobster Roll which was excellent. My wife got the Oysters which she enjoyed.

This restaurant is located on Salem st. in little Italy in Boston. It is very small. People recommended this restaurant for the lobster roll and advised us to try and get in around 3:00 pm when it is not too busy. Well, we did that and it was a 2 hr wait on a Friday. People who came later were... More

Small intimate casual restaurant that manages to consistently serve great seafood out of a tiny kitchen. Although the fish is fresh and the lobster roll (hot) phenomenal, the real reason to wait for a space at the bar is the quality of the oysters. They always have a great selection, the oysters are fresh and we love the atmosphere there.... More

So we tried to eat here 3 times before we finally were able to get in. Line ups range from 1-2 hrs. Best time to go for minimal wait time is between 2-4. Fair prices and great helping sizes.

Yes, everything people have been writing about the wait time is true. I suggest to place your name on the list hours before you want to dine if you are wanting to eat dinner there. We waited a little over 2 1/2 hours. You have to physically show up to the restaurant to place your name on the list, we... More

Went for lunch at this restaurant on Monday. We arrived at around 12:15 and asked for a table for 4. They told us the wait would be about an hour. You give them your phone number and they call you when a table is ready. You cannot wait in the restaurant because it is so small. It only seats about... More

We were recommended to go to Neptune Oyster from people before we even went to Boston. We thought we had to try it so we put our name on the list with a 45 minute wait. We just walked around Little Italy and went for a drink until we got the call from the restaurant. It is amazing that they... More
