we ate in the basement dining room and it was very quaint with rock walls. I had the Guinness French onion soup and the macaroni and both were great.

This is a pub so the four blobs are a rating against other pubs. We sat outside on a mild spring day and enjoyed Fish and Chips and few drinks while we people watched the Boylston St passers by. Traditional pub menu with selection of beers and a very pub like inside for traditionalists.

Found Solas by accident. Had the haddock and chips which was very good indeed but a bit pricy at $18. The Shepherd's Pie had good flavor. Our server had a great personality and paid attention to us both in a fun but not fawning way. Good atmosphere and experience overall. Would recommend.

Really cool place! Nice bartender Tom who helped us out a bit as tourists. No Moscato :( oh well! Soft pretzel app was suggested by Tom and it was so good with IPA cheese dip. Head there now :) Also has outdoor seating!!

Solas is located right next to the Lenox Hotel, one block away from Copley Square and 2 blocks from the Prudential Center. Our waitress was a young lady not friendly at all who seemed tired and bothered that we were there. For dinner, we ordered the clam chowder $10.00, shepherd's pie $15.00, chicken pot pie $17.00 and one Smithwicks $8.00... More

We stumbled upon this pub while staying at the Westin Copley Hotel. It was about a 5 minute walk. We sat upstairs and found the decor charming. Downstairs seemed a bit louder. We had lunch and all enjoyed it. My daughter especially enjoyed her Chicken pot pie. (It comes nuclear hot- so be forewarned) Our waitress was friendly. We found... More

I love this little Irish pub. Depending on the night the wait staff and bartenders are warm, but don't go there for the service. The Guiness pour is one of the best in the city, food is not too bad; for pub food. Also, the hotel it is attached to, and where you need to use the restroom(The Lenox), has... More

When we travel to Boston, my wife likes first to shop, and I first like to get a nice glass at Solas. This is a great friendly, comfortable place. Food is pretty good, too

Good service and beer selection. Chowda was mediocre but the onion soup was good and the mac n cheese was filling and fun.
