We stayed at the Lenox, so this was the perfect place to grab a quick meal and a drink after our arrival. The food was delicious.

We stopped here for a late dinner. My husband and son both ordered sandwiches which were both just okay. Another couple ordered the Sheppard pie which they thought tasted fine. We were upstairs; the seating are was quiet and non-descriptive. The bathroom was in the Lenox which was a gorgeous hotel! We wouldn’t return or recommend…not that it was bad,... More

Visited twice during our 4 night stay in Boston, as my husband was feeling nostalgic for his British roots and one (or maybe two or three) pints of Guinness made it all better! We had dinner here and loved the food!

This was a decent lunch. Nothing that blew me away. Had a couple pints of Guinness, a burger and my wife had a chicken Caesar salad. The food was good and service was prompt. If you like Irish Pubs, you will enjoy a pint here.

As we were staying at the Lenox we decided to try the very local pub, entering from the hotel side was obviously something they weren't used to. Grabbing a table we then were ignored by 3 members of staff before someone brought us menus and took drinks orders. Food was ok nothing special, service was average. Personally wouldn't go back... The staff was friendly but when I ordered a half-and-half light, and the waitress didn't know what I was ordering, I knew I wasn't in a traditional Irish Pub. They were out of Smithwicks too, so I had to settle for Harp. Food was decent. I had the reuben which had plenty of meat, a little too much 'kraut and... More

All the hallmarks of a classic Irish Pub: low ceilings, tight bar area, reek of stale beer odor, Guinness on tap. But only Guinness: other Irish beers on tap would have been good.

We are on a couple of days stopover in Boston before returning home. Tried out Solas for evening meals and were very impressed. Basic food, fish & chips, beef stew, shepards pie, well prepared and presented and good value. Great atmosphere inside on two levels with friendly, helpful staff.

Came here for dinner and a few drinks while visiting Boston on a business trip. The place was pretty crowded, but we were able to get a table upstairs. Solas had a great selection of beers and of course, they had Guinness on tap. I can't prove it, but I swear the Guinness in Boston tastes better than any other... More

The Guinness onion soup was great, the potatoe chips could be a meal on their own. Reasonable prices especially compared to other close by restaurants
