Cozy pub with great comfort food

Enjoyed lunch with friends here. Service was very good. We had the artichoke spinach dip, chicken pot pie and beef stew, all of which were delicious. If you're looking for a cozy warm stop on a cold day, for lunch or a beer, try this place. Right by Copley mall.

If you're looking for a great little pub with good beer selection, typical pub food menu and a small pub atmosphere then this is the place. Great location right in back bay, close to hotels, and handy if you need a break from shopping. I like to sit at the bar. Service is great and doesn't feel like a tourist... More

We were wandering in the area and came upon the Solas. I was slightly skeptical as it was attached to a hotel bu the food was lovely, really tasty sandwich, with decent service. It is very small though!

Stayed at The Lenox; saw this and wanted to try it. Arrived at 7:30, not greeted friendly by hostess at all. Seated a table that looked like it needed to be wiped. By 8pm still did not have our order taken...Daughter had evening plans with friends and had a time frame to eat and this was not working with the... More

It was fairly quiet when we dropped in for a quick drink and a bite to eat on Sunday. We ordered potato and cheese dumplings, steak and potato pizza and the wings. Food was OK, nothing exceptional, but perfectly fine pub food. Service was OK too. Pretty average all round.

We were here for lunch on a Saturday. First, let me say how great it was to find a reasonably priced restaurant, open for lunch, that would take a reservation. The restaurant gets two stars just for that!! Our table was ready when we got there, and they let us linger after lunch which was much appreciated as this was... More

Entry from the street or from inside Lenox Hotel. Not much atmosphere for an Irish pub. Had a glass of Pinot Noir - low quality. Should have had a beer.

I was expecting more Irish food choices. It was Friday after work for most there and was really loud and congested.
