Friendliest, most accommodating place!

Went for lunch, with the sign for $1 oysters drawing us in. Service was wonderful. Wanted the Tuna Ahi Sandwich without the 'sandwich' part, and was accommodated...as well as with the Lobster roll. Great service, great food and good price! Returned twice in one week!

Busy Saturday night and we hadn't made plans, so we started searching for places that had some availability. We found this place and it was a pleasant surprise. Nice beer selection, including some local crafts. The seafood fra diavlo was great, flavorfully spicy bu not crazy hot, with lots of seafood. Jane had the catch, which was swordfish, over a... More

We had taken a trolley tour and were walking through the area when we decided to try this place. They have doors on both streets and it turned out that we went in the back way. The confusion was short and we found our way and were seated. The noise from the bar was loud as well as the private... More

I am normally very particular about where I eat and don't just pop into a place without checking reviews etc... On this occasion my kids were hungry and thought Central Wharf looked like a good place to try. I did a quick search on TA and saw a previous review complaining of service issues but I thought, eh, lets just... More

We came here after a morning at the aquarium. It was empty and the food came quickly. The food had a nice presentation and it had a lot of taste. I thought the restaurant itself had a very cool decor and the prices were very good. The service was about as bad as it gets. Unfortunately, with it being empty... More

There are lots of good places in the Milk Street area and this one is worth the visit for their homemade fried chicken sandwich. With the good weather get a seat near the large open windows.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
