Excellent Food

Great pub feel with excellent food, reasonable drinks, and lots of baseball history on display. Went back several times. Best fish and chips I've ever had.

Stopped into McGreevy's on a Friday afternoon, March 16th to be exact. Told the Dropkicks did a meet and greet the day before, weren't lucky enough to have that repeated. The place was very busy. The bartender was excellent. We wen't next door to the Pour House, but endned up going back to Mcgreevy's because the atmosphere was much better... More

My second time in Boston, this time to talk at a conference at the Hynes convention centre, literally across the road from McGreevy's, Had lunch / drinks there several time during the week. A relaxing change from the conference, but still with a vibrant feel. We even managed a couple of business meetings there. The staff were superb, not something... More

This was a great place to get in out of the cold. Couple beers and nachos were the ideal way to warm up. Girlfriend liked the cocktail menu too. Staff were very friendly and the portion of nachos was HUGE!

Granted I went here during the Super Bowl when the Patriots won… so the place was on fire needless to say… BUT… aside from it being a blast cheering on with the locals, I can see this as a great hang out. Excellent service, fun vibe but relaxed. I highly recommend catching a game here or just hanging out with... More

Being a big fan of Boston punk music, mcgreevys is always one of the places i have to visit whilst in Boston and it never dissapoints. Ate here twice and had at least one drink every day/night in here during our trip. It was handily placed for our hotel and open til 2am so was a regular last stop off... More

Dropkick Murphy's bar. Stopped in here for a few drinks one night. Very cool, chilled out bar. Lots of memorabilia around giving it that authentic sports bar vibe. Service was friendly and efficient. I think if I lived in Boston, I'd hang out here quite a lot.

I was told it was the hometown bar of the local DropKick Murphys but went there as they had the football on and i needed a beer and something to eat. The cheeseburger sliders with sweet potato fries were excellent, the local Sam Adams Winter brew decent and the locals and barstaff were friendly and welcoming. I would go here... More
