Great Food, Great Beer, Great Vibe!

McGreevy's has a great atmosphere. That is the first thing I noticed. Really good music is playing while you're surrounded with sports playing on the many televisions. Service was great for the mid-afternoon weekday visit. The burgers are awesome! Lots of GREAT beers to choose from. If you're... read more

This is a great spot! I came here right before my first Red Sox game. So mucheck nostalgia and history. Definitely a must for sports fans!

I never saw the reviews till today I just wanted to add to the great reviews. Visited Boston for the first time ever came here to watch Paquiuo Mayweather fight and came early to get a seat like 12:30 early and I can't imagine a better place to spend 12 hrs. Ayesha and I am sorry but there was another... More

Great place to relax after volunteering for the marathon. Great Boston atmosphere. 3 bars, two upstairs and one downstairs. Food is good and reasonable prices for Boston.

Since our visit last year some of the bar staff have changed but they soon got to know us. The music is great, rock, grunge... and the sport on the many TV's around the place is great. The food and service is very good, Joe made us feel welcome, made a good friend. The atmosphere is great and plenty of... More

We came to Boston assuming that Dropkick Murphys would be playing St. Patrick's Day. Unfortunately they were in Ireland, but we still had a great time. The pub feel was loud, but fun. March Madness dominated the tv, so there wasn't any music playing. Great drink list and good service.

It is an Irish bar. Happened to be packed since Notre Dame was playing. The TV's were tuned to the game. I sat at a table expecting service or someone to come and take my drink order. But I ended up having to go to the bar to order a drink and then sit back at my table. I was... More

Great pub feel with excellent food, reasonable drinks, and lots of baseball history on display. Went back several times. Best fish and chips I've ever had.

Stopped into McGreevy's on a Friday afternoon, March 16th to be exact. Told the Dropkicks did a meet and greet the day before, weren't lucky enough to have that repeated. The place was very busy. The bartender was excellent. We wen't next door to the Pour House, but endned up going back to Mcgreevy's because the atmosphere was much better... More

My second time in Boston, this time to talk at a conference at the Hynes convention centre, literally across the road from McGreevy's, Had lunch / drinks there several time during the week. A relaxing change from the conference, but still with a vibrant feel. We even managed a couple of business meetings there. The staff were superb, not something... More
