We are a family of 4, kids aged 11 & 9 something on menu for everyone. Food cooked to order, tasty and reasonably priced around $50 for 4! We were staying closeby for 4 nights and ate here 3 times. Always busy!

Nearly everything is above average. Nice people serving and they are quite fast even though place is always crowded.

Went there for breakfast, Fast and very very friendly service, mediocre food (so so, average). Not great, not horrible either. Fresh Squeezed Orange juice was probably not fresh squeezed. Omelette and French Toast were average, the side order of potatoes was better and we both finished our potatoes and left a portion of the main dish.

We had to wait at the door of this small place overlooking people eating. No place to wait as it was raining outside. They had a few empty tables for four available but they would not sit 2 people there. There were two other couple waiting as well. But when a table for 3 showed up, they got sat right... More

Stayed at the Colonnade and happened upon this restaurant. While the restaurant lacks atmosphere, it makes up for this is service and food. The breakfast was prepared perfectly and was just what we were wanting, an inexpensive, delicious meal that could carry us into our touring. Can't go wrong with this choice.

Maybe we should have had breakfast. We had lunch and it was mediocre. My pasta dish was OK. Salad tasted like a microwave meal. Turkey Club was not bad. Price was great compared to other Boston restaurants.

We ate breakfast here for 3 mornings as it was near to our hotel. It is very busy but you can sit inside or out. Breakfasts very much based on eggs but food was good and portions a decent size.

We came here because of the reviews and didn't disappoint. Service was friendly and recommended the "2 of each" for breakfast, and it was equally big, tasty and cheap. If you're in the area, you should be having breakfast here.

I ate here every morning I was in Boston staying at the Colonnade. It opens at 7 AM and the food is great with plentiful portions reasonably priced. They have a patio with lots of room both inside and out. I've heard it fills up quickly but since I'm an early raiser, I was in and out before 8 so... More

Our hotel recommended Thorntons to us for a local breakfast. The food was very tasty, the restaurant had great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. My only gripe was that my food could have been hotter. I was too hungry to send it back and to wait for it so I didn't mention it at the time. My husband... More
